Big Ole Homo ...
Good afternoon, Gentle Reader,
So, last night, I was at home, getting some work done, and I turned on Spinner.com. I noticed that my top choice was Showtunes, and my second top choice was Gay Pride.
It occured to me that I was a BIG OLE HOMO. I had a little chuckle about it, and turned up the Showtunes channel.
Then I started cleaning my desk, and found a tiara. Now, in my defense, it was a prop (not mine) from the last show I did, that is in transit back to the theater. However, no self-respecting straight man would EVER have a tiara in his house, unless he was married to a member of Royalty ... and a member of Royalty of a country, not the local drag court.
So, with showtunes, gay pride AND a tiara. That's at least a 100 points on the BIG OLE HOMO scale out of a possible 200. If you go over 200, you get to BIG OLE QUEEN scale.
Add another 10 points if you have heard "Tits and Ass" from Chorus Line more than twice, and 50 if you raised your glass with tears streaming down your face and said, "You go girl!" while listening to it.
I'll be codifying this scale more in the days to come.
