Compact tab bar sometimes blanks out

Hi. In Orion RC since the release of compact tabs, the tab bar sometimes randomly goes blank, as shown in the attached video. This has now happened twice during the past couple of days. I'm not able to reproduce it on a fresh profile, even with multiple attempts of similar behavior that led to the blank-out. The tab bar only returns to normal when hitting a suspended tab, causing a reload of it. The profile I'm currently using is quite fresh, as I reinstalled MacOS from scratch couple of days ago.

Attempt to reproduce:

Have multiple tabs open for x amount of time, preferably so that the space in url/tab bar runs out.
Restart the browser, so that current tabs start in a suspended state
Open new tabs with some content in it
Close x amount of the active tabs, until the bar blanks out.

Extensions I'm running:
Consent-o-matic (Firefox)
Bitwarden (Safari)
2FAS (Safari)

Expected behavior is that the tab bar doesn't go blank.

Hey @hattu thanks for reporting. This seems to be a nasty one.

I have tried to reproduce this on my end but haven't been able to, so if you are able to find out a consistent way that this happens, please let us know. Meanwhile, we'll be on the lookout for this bug.

As a workaround, when this happens, does changing the mode from Compact to Standard / Vertical and then back to compact seem to fix it? Please try that out and let us know.

Changing to standard/vertical and back does indeed fix the bug when it happens. Though, it happened again almost right away when I continued closing tabs after swapping to standard and back. I also noticed that when you open a new tab when the bug happens, you can't type anything in the tab. I tried blindly writing an address and pressing enter, nothing happened. I probably had around 50 tabs open when I started closing them, and the bug happened twice. Orion RC has been running since last Sunday, with multiple macbook sleeps & wake-ups in between.
