Orhun Türker was born in Samsun, Turkey, in 1992. After graduating from Samsun High School of Fine Arts, he earned his bachelor's degree in Art Education from Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University. During his undergraduate studies, he studied Visual Communication and Design at Šiauliai University in Lithuania. He subsequently completed his master's degree in Graphic Design at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University. In his interdisciplinary master's thesis, he investigated the effectiveness of digital illustrations in developing social skills and received a one-year research grant to support his thesis research. He earned his PhD from Hacettepe University with a doctoral thesis focusing on augmented reality and museums.
Since 2019, he has regularly organized the BIAH International Poster Design Competitions. These competitions, which aim to raise awareness of social issues such as violence, water awareness, environmental protection, and addiction, have attracted thousands of designers from nearly 50 countries. He has participated in more than 150 national and international competitions and exhibitions. He is also an honorary member of international graphic design associations in China, Mexico, and Peru.
Since 2014, he has been providing consultancy services to various national and international companies as a freelance graphic designer and full-stack developer.
