WooCommerce order intelligence

Know who's ordering and what needs attention - without touching your order status

WooCommerce shows you orders. OrderBadger shows you which ones matter and why. Coloured badge pills appear on your orders screen the moment an order arrives - first-time buyers, VIP customers, fraud signals, shipping exceptions - all from rules you write in plain English.

When orders come in, your team opens each one individually to work out what it needs. Is this their first order? Are they a loyal customer coming back after months away? A serial returner who should be reviewed before dispatch? Does this order need age verification, special packaging, or a customs declaration? The information exists in your WooCommerce data - customer history, order patterns, product categories, shipping destination. It's just invisible in the orders screen.

Set your rules once.
Let OrderBadger do the checking.

Describe your rule in plain English

Type something like "repeat customer returning after more than 90 days, whose current order exceeds their average spend" or "new account under 7 days, order over £500, express shipping." No dropdowns, no condition builders, no developer needed.

OrderBadger converts it automatically

Your rule is turned into reliable, auditable logic that runs every time a new order arrives. It works the same way every time, with no guesswork.

Badges appear on your orders instantly

Your team sees colour-coded flags directly in the WooCommerce orders list - no clicking in, no manual checking, no missed details.

What happens when you change an order status?

Custom order status plugins change the actual WooCommerce status. That triggers side effects.

Unexpected customer emails

WooCommerce sends status-change emails automatically. Change an order to a custom status and your customer gets an email they weren't expecting.

Distorted analytics and reports

Orders in custom statuses often disappear from standard WooCommerce reports, sales totals, and dashboard widgets. Your numbers stop adding up.

Broken integrations

Stripe, PayPal, shipping plugins, and accounting tools expect standard WooCommerce statuses. Custom statuses can break refund flows, tracking updates, and sync.

OrderBadger adds badges. Your order stays Processing.

WooCommerce, your payment gateway, your shipping plugin, your reports - none of them see anything different. Badges are a visual layer only.

Know your customers. Control your operations. Protect your margins.

Customer intelligence

No other WooCommerce plugin surfaces who is ordering. OrderBadger does.

Operational intelligence

Flag what needs special handling before it reaches the packing bench.

Margin protection

Some orders quietly cost you money. See them before they ship.

If you can describe it, OrderBadger can flag it. Rules reference 40+ order fields - customer history, product categories, stock levels, shipping destination, time of day, and more. Start from 150+ ready-made templates or write your own.

Why OrderBadger instead of custom order statuses?

Non-destructive - badges don't break anything

Custom status plugins change your actual order status, triggering unexpected emails, distorting reports, and breaking payment integrations. OrderBadger badges are a visual layer only. Your orders, emails, analytics, and integrations work exactly as before.

Plain English - no ceiling, no developer

Dropdown condition builders work for simple rules but hit a wall with anything nuanced. OrderBadger has no ceiling - describe what you need in a sentence. If you can explain it to a colleague, you can turn it into a rule.

Customer intelligence - the space nobody else occupies

Every competitor focuses on what was ordered. OrderBadger is the only plugin that surfaces who is ordering - first-time buyers, loyal customers, lapsed returners, VIPs, serial returners - directly in the orders screen where your team works.

Frequently asked questions

What does OrderBadger do?

It automatically adds clear badges to WooCommerce orders (e.g. High Value, Age Restricted, Stock Alert) so your team can triage orders fast - without opening each one.

Who is it for?

WooCommerce stores doing regular fulfilment who want fewer mistakes, faster processing, and a cleaner "at-a-glance" order list for the team.

Does customer PII leave my store?

No. Before anything is sent for evaluation, OrderBadger strips personal data (name, address, email, phone, etc.) inside WooCommerce.

What gets sent for evaluation then?

Only the non-PII parts needed to run rules - order reference/ID, SKUs, quantities, shipping method, totals, timestamps, product attributes, etc.

Do you store my orders on your servers?

No. Orders are evaluated and then discarded. We do not retain orders on the server.

Where does the evaluation happen?

On our SmartFACT k8s clusters hosted on DigitalOcean, then results are returned to your WooCommerce admin.

Where are the results stored?

In your WooCommerce admin/store database (so your team can see badges instantly in the order list).

Can I control what badges exist?

Yes - badges are driven by your fact rules, so you can define exactly what gets flagged and why.

Do you use cookies / analytics?

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand website usage. We show a cookie consent banner so visitors can consent to non-essential cookies.

How long do you keep logs?

Service logs and diagnostics are kept for up to 6 months to help with reliability and debugging.
