Orbitum is a Chromium-based web browser that has an in-built chat client for Facebook, Vkontakte, etc. The chat window stays on the side of the the program so that you can browse the Internet while chatting - there is no need to shift between tabs to read messages.

Guys, there are also some great browsers [like Fireox, Opera, Chrome, etc.] you should try before using that kind of copy / past Chrome browser.
