How it works

Create Your Account

Fill Out The Form 

  1. Your name.
  2. A valid email (general email used by your practice is recommended).
  3. The name of your dental practice.
  4. A strong password.

Purchase clinical support case credits.

Fill Out The Form 

  1. Email (recommend same as user email).
  2. Billing address information.
  3. Credit card information.
  4. You may save the card in your account for easier checkout next time if you wish.

Submit a case.

Click on “Submit a Case” from the top menu and then click the “Use Credits” butto
 
Complete the case submission with the information requested in the upper four tabs starting with User Information
 
The three lower tabs are used by the reviewing specialist and will appear blank.

Add contact info and patient history.

Fields labeled with a red Asterix are required for submission.
 
Provide as much patient contextual information as possible.
 
While there is an option to skip adding information (“Do not know”) all the questions are important, so take note to gather all possible information for future case submissions.
 
Keep in mind with complete and thorough patient history information available this will allow for more meaningful reports from the specialist.
 
For additional relevant patient history details use the “Medical History Details” text box.
 
When you are done with the Patient Information tab, click the “Next” button to move on to Medications.

Add current patient medication.

Many common drugs are already listed (both generic and brand names) to choose from via drop down
 
If the medication is not listed, type out the complete name.
 
Knowing current medications is extremely important since many drugs have side effects that can manifest themselves in the oral cavity.

Add information about the lesion and submit the case.

Provide thorough details about the lesion
 
Add additional information such as:
Extra-oral characteristics such as the appearance of bumps and/or lymph node involvement
 
Occurrence of recent trauma reported by the patient or whether the patient suffers pain
 
Upload intraoral white light & fluorescence photographs by browsing for them on your computer
 
Upload an optional voice memo
 
Click “Submit Case for Review”

After the Oral Specialist reviews you will receive a PDF report.

It is important to understand that the report from the specialist is intended to help support clinical decision making and is not intended as a definitive diagnosis.
 
The PDF report you receive will contain:
 
A summary of the clinical information you provided including uploaded clinical images.
 
Clinical findings based on the information you provided
Recommendations for conditions to be included in a differential diagnosis.
 
General discussion
Suggestions to consider in management of the patient.
