Oops!Backup

Oops!Backup is a data backup program, designed for both home and business users, that automatically saves the data on a different drive.

Setting it up is a simple task. Once the program has finished installing, a setup wizard guides the user through each step of the backup process setting all the necessary details, like data selection, or backup location and frequency.
Oops!Backup is not the common backup program that just synchronizes two or more folders at certain intervals of times. It treats each modification in the monitored data as an event which is added to a queue, creating a timeline of changes. So it does not save just a modified file, it keeps a record of all the changes that happened in that file. This allows users to return each file to an earlier state, if something went wrong.
The restoring process is simple. The monitored file can be browsed and selected from the application interface. The user selects the date and hour of the file version he wants to restore and the file is reversed to a previous state. As the program does not allow the selection of multiple files at once, restoring a large number of files can take a lot of time.
The application uses the Microsoft Volume Shadow Service to access the monitored data. This makes possible to save files even while they are open into another application, allowing a permanent backup.
