This was found on the Fox forums by a friend of mine. In an interview Craig Van Sickle and Steven Long Mitchell talked about the Third Movie.
"Our fans still clabber for the answers because we never closed “The
Pretender” out. We will just say to them please be patient, it’s going to
happen, hopefully soon."
