I’m Onyeka Innocent, a Front-end developer and blockchain engineer.

My blockchain journey began in 2020. I was introduced to Ethereum by a friend who told me about an on-chain Ponzi scheme at the time called Ethereum Forsage, where users believed their ETH could multiply after participation. While the model itself was questionable, that experience marked my first-ever interaction with Ethereum and my first time buying crypto. It sparked my curiosity about how blockchain worked.

In 2021, I bought my first BNB at $42. Over time, I watched it rise to over $400 before eventually selling. That experience taught me early lessons about market cycles, patience, and timing in crypto.

Fast forward to 2023, I became actively involved in airdrop farming. However, as I spent more time in the space, I realized that blockchain and Web3 go far beyond airdrops. Growing up in Nigeria, I had seen firsthand the challenges of transparency, trust, and inefficient systems across many sectors. Blockchain stood out to me as a technology capable of addressing these problems by enabling open, verifiable, and trustless systems.

This realization pushed me into blockchain-focused front-end development. I began learning the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript at Aptech Institute in Port Harcourt. In 2024, while in Lagos, I also attended the Web3 Global Conference, where I connected with blockchain builders, developers, and enthusiasts. I’ve since attended multiple Web3 conferences, each of which further strengthened my conviction in the technology and its long-term impact.

In July 2025, I took a major step by starting the development of Partivox, a blockchain-powered engagement platform designed to help creators and communities benefit mutually through transparent, on-chain incentives. Building Partivox has deepened my understanding of real-world Web3 product development.

Currently, I’m diving deeper into the technical side of blockchain, studying Solidity, Ethers.js, and Web3.js to strengthen my foundation and build more robust decentralized applications. I strongly believe blockchain technology goes far beyond speculation or short-term farming, it offers practical solutions to complex, everyday problems.

This has been my journey so far, one driven by curiosity, learning, and a strong belief in blockchain as a transformative technology.
