Even More Season 7 Spoilers

Pretty Little Liars‘ seventh — and potentially final — season is going by many names: “The season of homecomings,” “the most romantic season yet” and even “the season with the highest body count.” And they’re all accurate.

1. 'Something pretty special' for 'Ezria'
"She and Ezra have reconnected after a long season of just working together and being friends," Lucy Hale says of Aria. "It was nice seeing them unable to resist each other again. She's still with Liam in Season 7, but she obviously has feelings for Fitz. So there's a bit of a love triangle, but you will see her make a choice — and something pretty special happens in her life. It's definitely the most romantic season."

2. Return to Snookers
"You haven't really seen the bar where [Aria and Ezra] met since the first season … where she was sitting, and then she turned to him, and they talked about literature," Hale says. "In one episode this season, Aria goes back to that bar to look for someone, and there's a little musical throwback. That was fun to film."

3. Emily and Alison's future
"'Emison' has the most surprises" out of any PLL pairing in Season 7, King says.

4. Can Emily save Alison?
Adding fuel to the "Emison" fire, Shay Mitchell reminds us that "Emily is a great friend and companion — she really does care. So she'll be there for Alison and try to help her out. The girls have all felt crazy at some point, so they all understand each other."

5. Noel's return
Brant Daugherty returns in Episode 9 of Season 7, appropriately titled "The Wrath of Kahn."

6. Clothing optional!
"I haven't heard for sure, but I don't know why it would stop," Tyler Blackburn says of Caleb's shirtless-ness, which increased greatly in the second half of Season 6. "I am going to ask them to get me a trainer," he adds with a laugh. "It's a lot of pressure.

7. Honesty alert!
"People, this season, are really speaking from their hearts," Troian Bellisario says, explaining Marlene King's famous "most romantic season ever" mantra. "Some relationships are falling apart, and others are being stitched back together. Things that have not been said for six seasons are finally going to be said."

8. #TobysGlasses
Keegan Allen says it was "interesting" to see the response to Toby's glasses in the Season 6 finale, adding that the accessory will "hopefully" make a reappearance in Season 7. "I think it's an attempt to make Toby look smarter than he is," Allen tells TVLine.

9. Mysterious Mona
Even with a new baddie in town, Mona will remain one step ahead of the Liars in Season 7. "She's ultimately trying to help everyone, but she's also very smart," Janel Parrish tells TVLine. "She does her own recon, and she keeps things close to the vest until she can confirm them." (Bonus scoop: Parrish is particularly excited about the girls' first scene with Jenna, which she calls "intense.")

10. Hanna's (other) twist
Regardless of whether or not Hanna survives her encounter with A.D., Ashley Benson says that fans are going to see "a different side [to Hanna that] they haven't seen. … They're going to feel for Hanna. They're going to be upset."

11. Caleb to the rescue!
Of all the characters on the show, Caleb is the "most single-focused on saving Hanna," King says. "He feels guilty for talking [Hanna] into this plan, and then for losing her." And speaking of Hanna and Caleb…

12. 'Haleb' exposed!
"Somebody's going to be honest with [Spencer]," King says of Hanna and Caleb's Season 6-ending kiss. "I can't say which of the party will be, but [Spencer] knows there's something not right with Caleb — and someone will tell her the truth about what happened that night."

13. Who's getting married?
The wedding, which King promises to be "romantic," will involve one of the Liars walking down the aisle.

14. Script secrets
Though King isn't sure if the title will stick, she says one episode will tentatively be called "Exes and OMGs." (Could that be the episode that welcomes back Lindsey Shaw as Paige?)

15. Jenna's return
"[Jenna] comes back saying she wants to be brought back into her family," King reveals. "There was an incident that happened during [the five-year time jump] that had her basically thrown out of the family — and she wants back in."

Jenna may be Sara’s ‘unlikely new friend’ & more Season 7 teases

"Pretty Little Liars" returns Tuesday (June 21) with the Season 7 premiere, titled "Tick-Tock, Bitches." It's a show known for its long-running mysteries, but show creator Marlene King tells Zap2it that fans can look forward to the resolution of some hanging plotlines early on in the season.

Zap2it: Is Hanna's kidnapping resolved fairly quickly or does that become a major plot in the season?
Marlene King: It's resolved ... not immediately but within the first two episodes.

How does Hanna react to it, considering what the girls went through in the Dollhouse?
They're all emotional wrecks. We came up with a phrase this year that has kind of stuck and it's when somebody goes to the dark place, they have that "Dollhouse Look" -- we see that a lot this season.

The big mystery of Season 7 -- is it still who killed Charlotte or is it more to do with Rollins and Mary Drake? Or is it something else entirely?
It's all of those things. There's some A.D. resolution fairly early about whether or not the girls can help A.D. who killed Charlotte and the game then shifts.

Does that have to do with the Liars making 'the biggest mistake of their lives'?
I would say yes, it's a game-changer.

Is Charlotte's biological father going to come into play in Season 7?
Not this season. We talked about that and it's possible we will visit that when we come back in 7b, but in 7a, that's not part of the story.

I wasn't sure how important his identity might be to the mystery.
It's a good question to ask and ultimately it may be [important], but as of right now it's not.

Is Sara Harvey still an adversary to the Liars, or could she become an ally?
We love Dre Davis. She's a doll. She's having a lot of fun this season. She meets an unlikely new friend, I'll say, and the two of them together are just delicious to watch.

Ooh, I hope it's Jenna.
Ooh, you might be right. [laughs] They certainly have a lot in common when it comes to the Liars.

You've said this season has the biggest body count so far. Is it deaths happening throughout the season or is the summer finale just a total blood bath?
[laughs] It's not one big blood bath, it's along the way. The stakes are higher than they've ever been and that results in a body count that's higher than we've ever had. I think Ian Harding said it best when he said it's the most romantic and deadly season of them all.

You've called this the 'homecoming' season -- is there anyone you would love to have pop in that you just couldn't make happen?
Not yet. So far -- we're having a hard time getting Torrey DeVitto in, but we'll make it work. So far everybody we're trying to get back really wants to come back, people are being very helpful scheduling-wise, bringing all these beloved characters back.

Will we see some more Charlotte flashbacks?
We will see Charlotte flashbacks and some of the characters who are returning to us this year who we haven't seen in a while are returning to us in flashbacks as well. So we get a sense of where they are now and what relationships they may have had with the Liars or other characters on our show over that five-year time jump.

With so many plotlines happening, do you have room to touch on what's going on with the Liars' families, parents and siblings?
The season is definitely more about the Liars and their romantic relationships, but I think we'll see more of the parents when we come back next winter. Ali's brother Jason comes back this summer, so we have a great relationship to play with there, so yeah, we'll see some family story.

When are we going to know if PLL is ending this season? Because fans are dying to know.
I think we'll know by the end of the summer.

‘PLL: 5 Years Forward’: A gut-wrenching death and 4 more huge reveals

The "Pretty Little Liars: 5 Years Forward" special was illuminating indeed, giving fans more answers than they're used to from an episode of "PLL." It also seemed helpful to the actors, getting to talk about what their characters have been through that happened off-screen. As Ian Harding says, "We have this thing of filling in all that we have not experienced."

And boy, was there a lot happening in those five years. Let's get to unpacking the special with the five biggest things fans learned about the Season 6 time jump.

Heartbreak abounds
The single biggest moment for Zap2it in watching the episode was learning that Mr. Fields (Eric Steinberg), Emily's dad, was killed while serving in the Army. Thousands of fans were undoubtedly wailing out loud at the reveal -- Zap2it was. Losing her father is most certainly going to have a profound effect on Emily.

"I think Emily comes back with the biggest secret ... that she's keeping from her friends," says creator Marlene King. "I think Emily comes back with the biggest baggage too, she's the most damaged."

Couples torn apart
But Emily isn't the only Liar who experienced some loss in the ensuing years. All three main couples have broken up.

"Things didn't quite work out with [Hanna] and Caleb (Tyler Blackburn), she was always gone a lot traveling and she didn't really make time for her relationship with him," says Ashley Benson. "She comes back and she's engaged. While she was in Europe she met her fiance. That was the saddest part I've ever read, that I was away from Caleb."

Troian Bellisario adds, "[Spencer] and Toby really fell apart, because he stayed in Rosewood ... they just really grew apart."

Aria (Lucy Hale) and Ezra are also no more and Aria's moved on to a new guy named Liam. "She's in a new relationship, she's fallen in love again," says Hale. "Where we catch up with her, she works for a publisher. That's how her and Ezra get reconnected, not in a romantic way but they actually start working together."

It also sounds like the girls weren't the only ones experiencing heartbreak over the five years. Harding hints that Ezra fell in love with someone else and then perhaps tragically lost her.

"Ezra has found a love. Ezra has followed the character Nicole down to South America to do Habit for Humanity, service, saving the world type things," says Harding. "This is his dream, this is his calling, this is what he wants to do and that is taken away from him very quickly and violently, so he comes back to Rosewood. Now he's back and completely rudderless. He has no sense of who he is and what he's supposed to do with his life. He falls into a really deep well into a sea of alcohol."

All is not lost, though
Obviously the favorite shipper pairings are going to be seeing each other now that the Liars are back in Rosewood, and Blackburn and Harding tease that this season is "sexier" and has "more skin" than past seasons, so perhaps they will not be parted for long.

Viewers also found out that Emily saw Paige (Lindsey Shaw) while she was in California, plus Alison (Sasha Pieterse) has started up a relationship with Charlotte's (Vanessa Ray) doctor, who becomes her husband.

"I think it's really fun for the fans to see this new relationship bloom because a lot of Alison's relationships have been interesting and dysfunctional a little bit," says Pieterse with a laugh.

Some extra scene info
Mona (Janel Parrish) and Charlotte both make appearances in the special, in scenes that take place in between the Season 6a finale and 6b premiere. There's no indication if these scenes are merely "5 Years Forward" goodies or if they'll show up in Season 6b, but either way, they provide some information about what the two incarnations of "A" have been up to.

Charlotte is being held in Welby State Psychiatric Hospital -- RIP Radley Sanitarium, now a gorgeous hotel -- and Dr. Sullivan (Annabeth Gish) pops up to help Jason (Drew Van Acker) and Alison visit their sister.

Meanwhile, three years after the 6a finale, Mona is home in Rosewood on a break from Duke University (of course Mona goes to Duke; it's kind of shocking it's not an Ivy League school) and looking to find out from Alison what Charlotte might reveal about Mona's criminal history. Alison assures her Charlotte is better.

The new big bad
The most exciting part of the "PLL" special is when they talk about the new threat to the girls that keeps them in Rosewood. Nobody is offering up specifics, but King and the Liars speak vaguely about what's coming in Season 6b.

"We can't tell you what happens when we get back to Rosewood. However, the girls do begin to receive messages," says Bellisario. "They know it's not from Charlotte and this time it feels very different ... this time it's no longer about, 'I'm gonna expose some secret that you have' or 'I'm going to ruin your chances to like get the Orchid Scholarship,' it's paranoia, blackmail, it's a life-threatening situation."

"Because it's life or death so quickly, you guys fight back right away," adds King. "You're not victims. You're on top of this right away, and I think that's a big difference between moving forward and the past."

The "scary as hell" Season 6b returns Tuesday, Jan. 12 on Freeform.

The answer-filled “Pretty Little Liars” Season 6 summer finale is almost here, “PLL” fans. To whet your appetite for the big day, ABC Family has released a series of photos from the episode, titled “Game Over, Charles.”

The girls are in their prom finery — the real prom, not the fake Charles prom from the compound — but they appear to have ditched the dance in order to explore some kind of concrete bunker. Did they perhaps stumble upon Charles’ real homebase?

Also, is the prom Disney themed? It sort of looks like the Liars are channeling various Disney characters. They’ve got Maleficent (Emily), Elsa (Hanna), Snow White’s stepmother (Mona) and Cinderella in the dress the mice and birds made (Aria) — because seriously, what is going on with Aria’s prom dress?

The description of the episode doesn’t offer any answers regarding Aria’s ensemble, but it does tease some major answers coming viewers’ way. “Who killed Toby’s mother? Who hit Alison in the head with the rock the night she went missing? Who is Red Coat? Who killed Bethany? Who is the Black Widow? Why has ‘A’ been targeting the PLLs all this time? After years of torture, Alison, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer finally come face-to-face with their tormentor and learn the story of how and why Charles became ‘A.'”
