As a spin-off of the interview meme, this is going to be the FAQ thread.

Ask me anything. Absurdly personal, generally random, anything. And I'll answer in the comments.

ANYTHING.
Let's make this work, people.

the friday five makes me giddy in the pants.

1. Are you named after anyone? If so, explain.
Not really, I mean, if you consider the month to be someone.
2. Do you have your children's names picked out already? If so, is there any significance?
I always kind of liked the name Tess (even before OLTL) and I really like the name Thia for girls. I have no idea what I'd name a boy though.
3. If you were born a member of the opposite sex what would your name have been?
My name would have been Matthew Scott... and my initials would have been MSG.
4. If you could re-name yourself what name would you pick and why?
I don't know.... maybe December?
5. Are there any mispronunciations/typos that people do w/ your name constantly?
I get a lot of people who misspell my name "Click" or something, but it's sort of hard to misspell April when it's on just about every calendar in the world.

OH, and I called customer service to sort out my Ticket, and as long as I have two forms of ID (What counts other than a driver's license?) I can get my ticket 5 minutes before curtain. 7th row, center orchestra, babes. SO excited.

NYC RECAP.

So, let's recap this fabulous weekend, now, shall we? All the pictures will be under the cuts.

PS. Got my AP Scores Thursday. Gotta love two 4's for two years in a row. Especially when my Gov essay elaborated on the fact that the power of the House of Representatives is that it REPRESENTS. YES WTF.

My mom is lotto goddess, and this was her first win of 3 this weekend. The Drowsy Chaperone was probably the best show I've ever seen, will ever see, or could probably ever be written. It's fresh and fun and really touching when you love Broadway as much as we all do. Everyone who said that Sutton is not the star of the show is right; I mean, we all love her and she's super talented, but it's Bob, Beth and Danny's show, and for me, a bit of Troy's. See it ASAP.

Just highlight pictures, first. Link to album later.

Me and Troy!

He walked out, and while he was signing, he looked up at me and goes:
"Were you in the front row?"
"Yeah! I thought I noticed you laughing at how into the show I was during Toledo Surprise."
"NO! Are you kidding? I loved it!"

<strike>Then we spooned briefly and he proposed.</strike>

Me and Beth; who is so amazingly sweet at stagedoor.

Me and Bob (Disregard the fact that I look like crap here.)
I saw him walking down the street after TWS Saturday, it was awesome.

Our Dirty Rotten Scoundrels seats were about row P-ish center. It was incredible. I was so excited to finally see it, and it was incredible, clearly. I think Sherie might have been sick, but it really didn't matter because I finally got to see Norbert and Sherie live. Lucie and Greg did kind of steal the show whenever they were on together, because they were just clearly that amazing. Wow, I just can't sum it up. Whoa, wow. Also, the Ruprecht scene got a little out of hand, and Jon and Norbs both sort of broke character. I laughed SO hard.

Me with-ish Norbert. Stagedoor man at DRS is mean and not nice, plus everybody was there for him.

Me and Jon! First picture was kind of like the Norbert one, and he called me a cheat and laughed. So, later he came back to take pictures for real.

Me, Lucie and Mom!

Me and Jbaraaaa. Who took foreverrrr to leave.

Woke up a bit early on Saturday to go rush The Wedding Singer and got front row center tickets. Laura's been really sick, and thus out a lot, but was in because it was her birthday show! Kevin Kern was also a black man. It was awesome.

Helloooo Richard Blake.

Kevin is cute and Joberg is a child molester.

This pretty much made the day awesome though; Hi Stephen Lynch.

Before we saw Faith Healer, and after TWS, we went to eat at Junior's on 45th, which has such awesome cheesecake. After that, we wandered over to Q lotto to help Lori out, very last minute, and who should win last (of only 6 names), but my MOM. So, yay lotto goddess Mom.

Faith Healer is an intense show. That's really all I can say. It's very depressing, and it's not a very accessible, but the people in it are intensely talent and incredibly humble.

Me while Ralph signed my playbill. Gee, he sure is pretty and nice.

Me while Ian McDiarmid signed my playbill. EMPEROR PALPATINE.

Cherry Jones signing my playbill. The AWESOME.

Sunday was our sad last day there. Elle was depressed she couldn't see Sweeney, so I called up while hanging around waiting for Laine because the Tarzan rush line was too long so, my Mom and I figured "Sure, let's lotto Norbs last." We grabbed Sami (NEW FRIEND SAMI, HI ILU.), Laine, and Elle, and all entered lotto for kicks. And sure, hey look who should win, BUT MOM. AND SAMI. So we all went to eat. At which point, we all fell in love with each other all over again. And my mom. We love my mom?

So then me and Laine had to boogie out of there because Sweeney has an early Sunday curtain, and we were all giddy to see that Dorothy was going on for Patti instead of Judy (so hey look, an audio of a Sweeney u/s). AND Ben Eakeley went on as The Beadle. He's really pretty. As Quinn stated "It's really weird to be attracted to a rapist's helper." Mano caught me during the playing with string scene and just kind of stayed on me for a good while. I was thrown for a loop. He really is incredible. Dorothy's acting was really really good too, albeit her vocals were a bit off for the first couple of songs. (During intermission, me and Laine met Michael Easton of OLTL and Port Charles fame. WIN.) Lauren met me inside the stagedoor after the show, STILL in costume with Cello and goes "APRIL!? HIII!" and it was awesome. Got my shirt. Went back out to wait with Laine and our flower for Mano.

Me and Mano! He remembered me and was very apologetic and wished he could have told me Patti'd be out. Although I told him that wasn't why I was there and he looked embarassed, lol. He took the flower from us and promised to revive it, and when he left after going back in to get his stuff, he was carrying the flower all delicately and thanked us again. Yes, okay, I love him. Are you all happy now? (Still doesn't beat Neil though.)

Me and Michael Cerveris. He brings his puppy to shows. How CUTE IS THAT?

DONNA LYNNE. I should have told her I always play boys and I look up to her for that, but I was floored by her awesomeness, and Laine was talking.

Dear Magnuson. Way to go with the shades.

Hi Ben Eakeley the rapist's helper. You are very hot hot hot.

YAY! Lauren! Even though I look like crap. And she stayed to talk to us about Target and Old Navy for an extra 15 minutes, it was awesome. ADORABLE tiny thing.

Full album is here: http://community.webshots.com/user/dramaticapril4/1 if you feel like seeing hugeness, or other pics of people I didn't post.

EDIT: HEY LOOK ME AND ELLE AND ENDIRA.

Shannon to not be dead on Lost or that Shannon/Sawyer fic about Champagne I asked for 3 decades ago.
5. This Digital Camera
6. <strike>A full, decent quality audio of Cary in Rent. Pref with Matt too.</strike>
7. Broadway stuff, posters, shirts, window cards, husbands, Shields babies.
8. To beat <strike>my ex-boyfriend, my arch-rival,</strike> and the girl who is better than me at everything at my next forensics tourney.
9. Anything from my Amazon Wishlist (I don't need hard copies).
10. To get into Emerson, NYU, and DePaul.

Step One
- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

- If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two

- Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

If you know anyone who's asking, or feel like responding for me, I won't be reuploading anything at the last music community I was at because I was a "bad poster." The mod there removed me from posting ability and as far as I am concerned, if the people want my music, they can come to thunderstills.
another one. Sorry.

FRIENDS CUT
(Another one)

I'm sorry guys, but I've found myself skipping over a lot of entries lately, and I just don't think it's fair to keep y'all around when I feel like you do the same thing.

Some of those are duplicate journals. Others never asked to be friend, and just added me. Some are just dead.

I've also left a lot of communities lately. Sorry.

FRIENDS CUT

If you see only this, and the friends only entry when you go to my page, I cut you. I felt like we were distant, and we didn't know each other very well. Or you never post anymore, or it was a duplicate journal that you never used. It's really nothing personal, maybe some other time we can be friends again. But not right now. Sorry. :/
