HEARTSHAVEN
HOUSE OF HEARTSHAVEN
The House of Heartshaven is the ancestral home that was originally in ruin, but the model of it has been restored in full upon it's relocation on Mandalus. Described as to fit "45 cousins" (one does not question the measuring methods of Time Lords), the current head of the house and heir is Romanadvoratrelundar. Heartshaven is also one of the Prydonian Houses. While it was originally primarily exclusive to those of the family line, Romana has opened the doors to anyone wishing to stay there due to the fairly large size of the manor. This is a three-story building (with a basement)with a total of ten bedrooms (each with their own bathrooms), an additional two bathrooms for guests, a sitting room, a dining hall, a private study and a library that takes up approximately one quarter of the building on the top two floors. It's always open but the majority of the books in the library are written in an alien language. Other than the few shelves containing older English Literature the library may not be of much use to anyone who doesn't understand Galliffreyan. With the exception of her bedroom and the study all of the rooms in the house are open and available to anyone who wishes to take up residence there.
Everyone who lives here is responsible for taking care of themselves. The kitchen is open but people are required to make their own meals, unless someone is feeling particular generous and wants to cook for everyone. There is a laundry room located on the basement level of the home that is also open for use.
There is also a small vineyard located behind the manor that is approximately one square acre in size. While it is not as large as the original vineyard on Gallifrey, it is still usable for growing the fruits needed to make the wine Heartshaven was once notable for. But seeing as this is not priority concern for Romana this is also open for anyone to tend to and use as they see fit.The first floor consists of the dining hall, sitting room, guest bathrooms and kitchen. The second and third floors are reserved for the bedrooms with hallway access to the library. The private study is located on the third floor next to Romana's room. Each bedroom is styled to however the respective owner sees fit.
