About us

What is OneIT?

“OneIT” is a philosophy to help Georgia Tech’s IT community see itself as one IT community: sharing a common language, knowledge, and ways of doing things.

Our scope focuses on promoting that philosophy, and OneIT exists to complement, not replace, other IT community groups like the Information Technology Advisory Community (ITAC) and the Computer Support Representative (CSR) list.

Steering committee

OneIT is overseen by a 15-person committee of IT professionals from across campus.

The committee is coordinated by:

  • Two co-chairs, one from the Office of Information Technology and one from the campus IT community
  • The ITAC chair and associate chair
