Notes 2: This… is a hospital AU. I do not work in hospital. I did a lot of research but I probably have some glaring errors. Please don't hold that against me?
Summary: Right from when he gets up far too early, through his hurried shower and breakfast and drive to the hospital, through to his pre-rounds and everything in between, all he can he think about is Khun.

Thank you so much to everyone who participated in round one of this challenge. Being our first time modding a challenge, I know we made some very grave mistakes that were a pain. But really, we received an absolutely amazing entry from this round so I hope that any rounds in the future, whether run by us or someone else, will be even more wonderful. ♥

So the final deadline has passed us up. Unfortunately, we have no submissions yet (with the exception of one author who will be submitting soon as they can).

As with all our problems, we'd like to hear the opinion of everyone before we make a move. There are three plausible actions that I can think of at the moment. We can extend the deadline again, to the 30th, which would bring us back to the original deadline. Or we can wait until the end of the week and see if we get more submissions and post whatever we have. If none of those are wanted, we can wait for the author that has spoken to us, and simply post up their submission, if they are willing.

Comments are screened, to hopefully gain more responses, so please tell us what you think, and of course other suggestions are welcomed as well. Thank you for your time.

Instead of calling this a "first draft", I've taken to calling this a "check-in" draft instead. All I want to do is ask that you either post below (comments will be screened) with your current word count, just so that I know that you've written something or if you haven't written anything, just say that you're still in the game and not giving up, or visa versa, if you are giving up now, let us know. :)

This will be open until October 31, 12:00 a.m EST.

I know a lot of people are afraid of not making it for the final deadline, so I'd like to ad that I left time in December so that we can have a possible extension. This contest sort of doubles as a secret santa for OneDay because of the time, so if you want to have a holiday theme in your fic, go right ahead (as it is during the holidays).

I mentioned this on the ffa but I only got one response, so I've taken it in good grace that no one minds a change of deadline. If you do have conflicting views, please say so below.

☞First Draft Deadline: October 30th→minimum of 1,500 words written.
☞Final Draft Deadline: December 20th→final draft submission.

This is mostly so that the challenge completes in 2010, and also because I feel like the challenge deadlines are simply too far. This is a challenge, after all. November has been voided for people who are competing in nanowrimo this year to avoid conflicting schedules. Since everyone has gotten a good start on their fics so far, this shouldn't be a problem anyways. If you haven't started, what are you waiting for?
