Well, I was thinking the rats would come alive later and do battle with the nutcracker and co. And then I had to consider what Sherlock would be doing with a bunch of rats. Hmm.
This is a lovely start - just what any mother wants - a rat trap with mechanical rats which can also be fired from a cannon. I suspect PC Lestrade will be smitten by Mycroft in his waistcoat.
