Who We Are
- We are Canada’s largest member-supported genealogical organization, an Ontario registered non-profit corporation and a registered Canadian charity.
- Our mission is to encourage, bring together and assist those interested in the pursuit of family history and to preserve Ontario’s genealogical heritage.
- We have 22 Branches representing counties & districts across Ontario and 5 Special Interest Groups (British Home Children, Eastern European, Scottish, Irish and Irish-Palatine)
Events
- Society members have access to free monthly webinars and special webinar series. Webinars are available to purchase for non members.
- There are many virtual and in person learning opportunities available from our 30 branches and special interest groups. Many are free to attend.
