Expressive Arts Therapy Diploma: cross-disciplinary training in the multi- and inter-modal expressive arts therapy approach to change through the creative process.

• Diploma includes spring and summer in-person immersions, online coursework during the academic year, 300-hour direct contact practicum experience, ongoing supervision, and academic and writing support in the completion of a research project in an area of personal interest.
• A diverse group of teachers will support students to explore identity and self in relation, journeying towards braver and safer creative spaces. Solution-oriented in essence, WHEAT integrates aspects of psychology, phenomenology, somatic awareness, and Indigenous worldviews to develop playful, creative, informed therapeutic arts programs that support the nourishment of the imagination and the strengthening and sharing of each individual voice.
• Summer and spring immersions take place at Painted Sky Studio, a beautiful, tranquil, lakefront location in the Métis community of St. Laurent, Manitoba. Yoga and meditation combined with our water spa experience, and top-quality training create a profound holistic healing experience. Enjoy Painted Sky sunsets, beach walking, kayaking, and delicious food in community with your cohort to make this your most memorable learning experience ever.
