The Leeds Spinners organised the first UK launch of the Women\u2019s Declaration, which was held in Leeds Civic Hall on 25th May 2019. OBJECT sponsored and attended the event. A brilliant opening speech was given by Councillor Sarah Field<\/a>. She pointed out that \u201cmen know what a woman is in Holbeck\u201d \u2013 the so-called \u2018managed prostitution zone\u2019, an area of Leeds where men can pay to rape vulnerable women and children. Next, Sheila Jeffreys spoke about the development of the declaration<\/a>, explaining why \u2018gender identity\u2019 rights are a threat to women\u2019s human rights. Heather Brunskell-Evans focused on the harm of \u2018transgenderism\u2019 to children<\/a>.
