About Us
The Native Women’s Association of Canada advocates for the social, economic, cultural, and political wellbeing of Indigenous women, girls, Two-Spirit, transgender, and gender-diverse people across Turtle Island and Inuit Nunangat.
Since 1974, we’ve worked to address critical issues affecting Indigenous communities including violence prevention, health equity, economic empowerment, environmental stewardship, and the preservation of cultural identity.
Through policy development, community programs, and national advocacy, we create pathways to equality while honouring traditional knowledge and promoting self-determination.
