I plan to eat lots of strawberries and delicious food, watch the Maypole rise, and people dance around it.

Summery dress: check! Flower wreath to wear on my head: hmmm, to be made. I don't know if we have enough flowers around here. Darn it, I need to gather 7 different flowers for tonight too to put under my pillow, so there just have to be some around *glances at mum's flower beds*. They never specified that the flowers had to wild, right? Sunshine outside: check!

Things just cannot go wrong.

Well, that was a little bit too close for comfort. I am talking about the voting in the Swedish Song Contest where Malena Ernman won with the song La voix. We almost sent another song to the Eurovision Song Contest: Snälla, snälla, snälla (Please, please,please) which was a...different song, and probably would have embarrassed Sweden. My mum hated it with a passion.

I am very satisfied with the finalist as it reminded me of the scene in the movie "The Fifth Element" where the blue alien woman sings opera rock. Awesome. Hopefully we have a chance this year.

Guess what I found in the grocery store today? Ice cream...but not just your regular ice cream!

Flavor: "Pepparkakor" (Gingerbread biscuit)
Design: A/n moose/elk on the front and the text Scandinavia.
Next to it: the flavor "Glögg" (Warm vine/mulled wine) with the same design

Needless to say I bought it. Anything with an elk on it got to be good!

They were forced to use their curiosity that got them there in the first place – to overcome the fear of making another mistake. They – dealt with their fears.

Dr. Who S04E11 - Turn Left

Oh, things are getting interesting again! Not that I have disliked the last couple of past episodes, but now it feels like we are back on track with the original "save the earth/universe/everything" and "good vs. evil" thingie.

I rather enjoyed this episode with all the "what could have happened". Something as simple as choosing to go right instead of left can change your life, or as in this case, the entire planet's.

I am looking forward to the next episode when we will meet some characters from Torchwood (oh, I am so hoping they'll make a 3rd season!)! And not only that, we'll also get to see Martha, Rose and Donna in the same ep.

WOAH!!!

YES!!!

Sweden won against Greece with 2-0!!!

Even though I'm not usually interested in football I enjoy watching EURO2008, national pride and all that you know. The only things I fear right now are the future games...I am bound to get someone I know rooting for the opposite team no matter what other country Sweden will play against. It ain't gonna be a pretty sight, but it's gonna be fuuun!!! *evil laughter*

Dr.Who S04E04

So, I just finished watching Dr. Who S04E04.

What to say? The episode was rather bland in my opinion. We got to see Martha once again, but that was about it it felt like. The plot was the regular "Alien world domination/Exterminate the human race". I got the feeling a lot of the side characters got a lot of lines in the episode which kind of annoyed me.

I hope the conclusion of S04E04 in S04E05 will take the series back on track...and that the scriptwriters come up with some good ideas for future episodes.

Finally I got my virtual life back

Doctor Who

Yesterday I watched the three first eps of Doctor Who, season 4 and I got somewhat worried in ep 3. Will Tennant continue as the doctor, or will we see a new one soon?

The reason for this question is the dialog in the end. The Ood said that the Doctor's song has to end soon...could this be interpreted as a rebirth of the Doctor once again? The old one dies in order to give place for a new one and the current Doctor's song "dies"?

If that happens: NOOoooooo!!! Tennant is by far the best Doctor!!!
