yes i'm from new jersey, and yes i'm sure plenty of you don't care, but for those of you that do...

i got to hand it to you, red sox fans, you certainly earned it.

this week, i went from actively disliking baseball to learning most of boston's starting line up. this is what happens when you spend games two and three of the world series with two boys from massachusetts. needless to say, it was enjoyable, though it flew in the face of everything my geographic sports socialization has engrained in me.

i've just finished "taking a meeting" here in my sister's apartment (one of the benefits of working at home and working with your sister, who also works at home, is that a lot of your work can be done on couches and in pajamas), and as soon as we got off our conference call, she pulled up jibjab to check out the latest Kerry vs. Bush-patriotic-song-mangling-music-video (the first one was "This land is Your Land", this time it's the "I wish I was in dixie..." song).

if you want a little procrastination and a cheap laugh at the expense of our poor-excuse-for-a-new-jersey-governor, you should definitely check it out, though it may not be "worksafe". (not sure)

cheap laughs aside though, any thoughts beyond BOOHISSKILL on the debates last night?
