"the re reimagine of bumping reel was just unreal. you can tell that the band is having a good time this tour and maybe being in the studio writing his new songs bought some fresh energy to the band because I did the Texas run and the private wibble show and I'm just blown away that I missed this."

"Out of the first 6 shows of tour this one is definitely the best. The first set is top shelf queso, and starts with a surprising extended jam out of Can’t Wait Another Day that smokes. The Birdland that follows has some great playfulness in the funk section. Rhythm of the Road has a huge jam that I assumed was a segue but ended up being another extended section of improv within the song. The Lightning Sky, second time played, is a great tune. The ambient pre jam leading into Bumpin Reel begins with the band as a three piece and it’s a wonderful intro into the best Bumpin Reel I’ve heard in a loooong time. I also loved the more upbeat version of Bigger Isn’t Better, which has Bill and Kang sharing the lyrics. Show closes with a solid Lands End that segues into an all out dance party with Rosie. It will be interesting to see where this show stacks up at the end of 2026. "
