This application was written by a violinist that needed an accurate application for tuning. It uses ACTUAL recorded violin notes and not generated sound effects. Playback options include Arco (bowing) or Pizzicato (plucking). Contains the basic tuning of G, D, A and E. Just push the button for the corresponding note. There are settings for playing one note with each click or a continuous loop with silence between to allow you to tune. Download with confidence as this app was created with iOS 4.2.1 in mind.
