We've all been through a lot lately, so it's time for a bit of R&R! Rest & relaxation, entertainment, a game! We took it upon ourselves to hold another Bachelor & Bachelorette Auction! Meant to have it a lot sooner, but, well, zombies, what can you do?

For you new kids, a gal named Kitty started this awhile back. This time, it's also dedicated to Dash and Blood. You'll see why after we get the rules of the game out of the way:

1. We need three things from you: your Name, how many coins you're bidding, and who you're bidding on! If you're in the auction, you can totally still bid on someone!

2. We support pranking, so you can bid for someone else. Just remember the best pranks are between friends and, more importantly, don't actually hurt anyone!

3. Only bid what you can afford - don't want anyone going hungry from this, alright? Alright.

4. Dates don't have to be romantic. We're just looking for a good time, folks.

The money is going to get spread around as best we can, but there'll be an order of preference:
- firstly to The Hatchery for shoes, scarves, hot cocoa, and other things to make any newborns more comfortable through the winter - like as many heaters as we can buy. Hopefully we can afford that stuff for all of them until it warms up again!
- secondly towards bridge reinforcement and repair, now and in the future. Possibly a new one -- we'd love one straight to the Bazaar.
- lastly, towards the Watch's prison, for any reinforcements or repairs they need now or in the future.

What was the purpose of this last week? I've been thinking about it.

I wonder if it was a test. Perhaps it was to see how well we can handle a crisis without warning, unlike the ants and the hurricane.

Perhaps it was a mistake, and a warning was intended but did not come.

Perhaps it was simply because whatever force controls such things is entertained by cruelty.

The weekly annoyances and dangers we're subjected to may suggest the last, but I don't think it's as simple as that. I am only one person asking questions.

Don't you want to know as well?

It is true, the wrong questions--the wrong answers--in the wrong places can prove deadly. But this past week shows that our risk in searching for answers is little greater than the risk of simply living here.

HEY EDENSPHERE, LISTEN UP!

So, Captain Stoneface has been ~~complaining~~ talking about getting a Watch House since, like, around when we built our jail right? But whenever I suggest totally awesome ideas like, I dunno, making a really sexy calendar of the watchwomen and watchmen he just ~~glares at me~~ turns me down.

But we really need a Watch House, because let's face it, I'm tired of doing paperwork at home and we need a place to socialize and stuff and probably a place to store clothes. So I have come up with a BRILLIANT PLAN!

A bake sale! There's no way it can go wrong, right? So everybody, come on down to the Park on Friday rain or shine (or is that snow or shine? Remember that we patrol around for your safety, and most of the time it's not very fun at all so you should definitely give us a place that we can call home. We do the not-fun jobs like asking drunk people to stop waving bottles around and then they throw up on our feet, and incidentally, I'd really like a locker to put those boots in because they smell really bad.

Friday, all day, at the park, BAKE SALE! Even if you don't like us much, we'll have really tasty cookies and banana bread and all sorts of things. Everybody likes cookies!

Oh. And, uh, so... Captain Stoneface if this isn't okay I'll just scribble over it, no harm done right? ~~Please don't cut my salary.~~
