NOVA Summit 2026

In May 2026, over 400 organizers, birth workers movement leaders, storytellers, healthier advocates, artists, researchers, and visionaries gathered in Chicago for NOVA: A Black Repro Ecosystem Summit for Innovation and Action. Over three days, we aligned on shared challenges, strengthened connections across the Black reproductive health rights and justice ecosystem to deepen our commitment to building a Black feminist future we all deserve.

What is the NOVA HUB?

A Space for Alignment

Practitioners and leaders moving in a shared direction, even across differences.

A Place for Coordination

A central home for regional strategy, working groups, and ecosystem-wide planning.

A Resource Library

Tools, frameworks, summit materials, and updates people can return to.

A Pathway to Action

Clear next steps that turn summit ideas into sustained work.

  • “NOVA created the kind of space our ecosystem deeply needs — one where organizers, healers, advocates, funders, storytellers, and community leaders could come together, build trust, and move with shared purpose.”

    NOVA Summit Attendee

  • “What made NOVA powerful was the alignment. It reminded us that reproductive justice work is strongest when every part of the ecosystem is in relationship, from policy and care work to culture, organizing, and strategy.”

    NOVA Summit Speaker

  • “I left NOVA feeling more connected, more grounded, and more clear about the role we each play in building a future where Black reproductive health, freedom, and justice are fully realized.”

    NOVA Summit Attendee

  • “NOVA Summit was a gathering point for vision, strategy, and collective care, a space to remember that our movements grow stronger when we are aligned across difference and discipline.”
