NoteMaker

Despite its name, NoteMaker is not an average program to create written messages and post-it notes for your agenda or to-do lists.

With NoteMaker you can add all kinds of notes and messages to your own videos. Thus, you can enhance your video presentations, tutorials, or home-made movies with funny and professional notes, adding written or audio instructions and comments to them.

The program’s interface is both simple and comprehensive. All information is well organized in different panes – one for the video itself, another one for its settings and properties, and the third pane with a useful timeline for showing all the elements hat have been incorporated in the video. These elements or objects can be graphic or auditory. Among the former you will find lines, callouts, classical text notes, and even some funny images. The variety of graphic elements available leaves room for improvement, though, both in quantity and style. The latter can be any audio file existing in your system or a new recording captured using its built-in, useful, and very convenient audio recorder. Thus, you will not need any third-party tool to add your own audio comments and instructions to your presentations or tutorials, and you will not need to leave the program either. The big advantage here is that you can make your real-time recordings while watching the video they are intended for, thus ensuring perfect audio-video synchronization.

Nearly everything in this tool can be customized: the size and shape of the notes, the text you include in them, borders, etc. You can even add some basic enhancements to your video, i.e. transparency and fade in/out effects. All in all, NoteMaker is a useful light tool to help you give the professional look to your own videos.
