幼少の頃、近所の子供たちで遊んだ「下駄隠し」が大嫌いだった。気の弱かった俺はいつもターゲットにされていた。
でも、ある時気付けば違う子が俺に変わってターゲットになっていた。ジャンケンでもあみだくじでもなく常に近所のジャイアンに決定権があった。

大学生になり旅行サークルに入った。参加した新歓コンパで３年生の男子学生が飲めない２年生にお酒を煽っていた。彼は明らかにこのサークルのトップに君臨している王様だった。不意に下駄隠しの歌が遠くから聞こえてきた。
