RAF Air base

Anyone here living in or near Wymondham?

Is there an RAF air base somewhere in Wymondham or around there? Saw three large RAF or some sort plane (not sure what type but it has four engines - two per wing) roaring very low over my house today between 3pm and 4pm and was wondering where they came from or landing on?

Edit: Similar to RAF Hercules - not sure if it's that plane or not. But the shape is similar...
