wpDataTables is the plugin I reach for when a site needs real tables (sorting, filtering, pagination, exports) and charts that pull from actual data—not just a static HTML table pasted into a page. How it works in practice (the mechanics that matter)
- You can build tables from manual data, CSV/Excel, Google Sheets, MySQL queries, or other sources depending on your setup. The “power mode” is MySQL/query-based tables, but that’s also where performance/security matters most.
