Long time.

I always sucked at writing, it was just not the way I ever felt comfortable expressing myself.
I've always admired those who did it well and envied them a bit.
But my brain thinks in terms of cinematography and photographic composition.
Instead of words to describe feelings or moods, I think of images.

Police officer blasts innocent man in groin with 50,000 volt Taser 'by accident'

So let me get this straight, Police pull over "Peter Cox" who was on his way to a a friend's to work in his "front garden" and the police accidently tazer him with 50,000 volts in his groin. He was "really shocked" and left him "stiff as a board" with paralysis

This fucking lightning storm was epic tonight.
It began and ended in about an hour but the rain hammered my house and the lights flickered and then I went outside to see a nearly-full moon popping in and out of the clouds and a constant strobing of heat lightning directly overhead.
I love heat lightning because it's virtually silent.

Man dies in New Jersey chocolate plant while preparing Hershey product

A Camden, N.J., man died Wednesday after falling into a vat of melted chocolate at Cocoa Services in Camden that was being prepared for The Hershey Company, according to a spokesman for the Camden County prosecutor's office.

Vincent Smith II, 29, died at the factory about 10:30 a.m., according to spokesman Jason Laughlin. Smith was a temporary worker at the business. Camden Police and the Camden County Prosecutor's Office responded to the scene and are investigating, but preliminary information suggests the death was an accident, Laughlin said.

Laughlin said Smith was standing on a 9-foot-high platform loading solid chocolate into a vat when he fell into the 8-foot-deep vat, where the chocolate was heated to 120 degrees. A co-worker immediately hit an emergency shutoff switch and two others tried to pull Smith out, but he was hit by an agitator, a large paddle-like piece of machinery in the vat used to mix the solid chocolate as it melts, and suffered fatal injuries from the blow, Laughlin said. Firefighters removed Smith from the vat but he died at the scene, according to Laughlin.

Lyons & Sons Inc., which owns the building and manages the Cocoa Services operation, closed the business for the day after the accident. Kirk Saville, spokesman for The Hershey Company, said the company's thoughts are with the victim and his family.
