Yes, I will help eliminate leprosy from the world!
No more leprosy infections by 2040. Not only does that sound very nice, it is an achievable and realistic goal. Your donation makes all the difference. With your donation, we can detect, test and treat as many people as possible and as quickly as possible. That way we can prevent further infection. And we can put an end to leprosy.

Frequently Asked Questions
How will my donation be spent?
With your donation, you ensure that we can detect, treat and help rehabilitate leprosy patients as early as possible. From every euro you donate, we spend €0.83 on leprosy control. Last year, thanks in part to the support of our donors, we detected and treated 33,743 new patients worldwide.
Does the Leprosy Foundation have ANBI status?
When donating to charity, special tax rules apply. The Leprosy Foundation is registered with the tax authorities as an Institution for General Benefit (ANBI). As of January 1, 2008, various tax benefits apply.
- The Leprosy Foundation pays no inheritance or gift tax for inheritances and gifts. Which means we can therefore help more leprosy patients with the donations we receive;
- Distributions made by the Leprosy Foundation in the public interest are exempt from gift tax;
- Donors to the Leprosy Foundation may deduct their donations from income or corporate tax, within the applicable rules, of course. To be eligible for the deduction of periodic gifts, the donor and the ANBI must record the gift in an agreement.
So the amount you donate will fully benefit the Leprosy Foundation.
