Focused on the individual learner, we transform institutions and organizations towards equitable student access and success and well-paying, in-demand jobs.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Beliefs<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>NLET values equity and access to high quality education and training.<\/li>\n<li>Equity and access can only be achieved by assuring parity across the lifespan of educational and training opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Personalized, relevant, and student focused outcomes are essential to creating equity.<\/li>\n<li>Technology, when appropriately deployed, can facilitate equity and access, but only within a supportive ecosystem of caring and well-trained educators.<\/li>\n<li>Educational resources should be ubiquitously available at very low cost, and iteratively improving with collective use.<\/li>\n<li>Education institutions and employers must identify and remove institutional barriers and beliefs that sort out learners in order to have lasting transformation and impact.<\/li>\n<li>Collaboration and coherence across all sectors is necessary to identify and address complex educational problems affecting equity and outcomes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Vision<\/h2>\n<p>NLET\u2019s vision is for education to achieve technological and cultural parity to ensure the education and career goals of highly diverse learners.<\/p>\n<h2>Mission<\/h2>\n<p>NLET\u2019s mission is to develop and support student-centric learning and career outcomes toward improving lives.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>National Laboratory for Education Transformation &#8220;NLET&#8221; At NLET, extraordinary people work together to build coherence and technology enhanced solutions across education, training, personal learning, and employment.
