Community Accounts Mapping and Visualization Centre

The map based information on the site is available in a variety of formats, each of which is described below:

Data Visualization and Mapping Suite (Beta)

Data Visualization and Mapping: This includes a new collection of tools which combine our mapping features and our charts. It allows you to select which type of classifications to use when mapping your information, and the information can be loaded from virtually any data source within Community Accounts. In order to classify the information properly, geographies available include: Neighbourhoods, Communities, Economic Zones, Rural Secretariat Regions, and Police Regions.

Community Infrastructure Mapping System

NL CIMS: The Community Infrastructure Mapping System is an ongoing initiative to accurately place as many pieces of infrastructure within the communities of Newfoundland and Labrador as possible. Using information collected through a variety of sources (self-collected, supplied by the organization, satellite imagery) we will be adding new layers going forward. These layers are intended to cover the different areas of development and life within a community, including (but not limited to): Health, Education, Business, Justice, Heritage, and Transportation.
