Ça plane pour moi

Naturally, after seeing the movie and hoping that people continue to throw buckets of money at PJ, my brain went back to that dark time - the time of the rings and the avalanche of porn that it produced! So I've had my head stuck in the Library of Moria and Of Elves and Men for the last 2 days, I had forgotten how wonderful (and tragic) it all was.

The last few years have been spent band-slashing and working (like a grown-up). It wasn't until I thought about how much eye-fuckery was happening between Bilbo and Thorin that I realised I missed the old days, when chocolate orbs danced and rigid shafts were milked :-)

Almost makes me want to write again ...

I suppose someone will rip and post the PatD vid :( MTV being assholes and all I can't watch it yet

I need a couple of songs for my Dad's funeral, we can't buy either from iTunes.

There's a reason I haven't been around much lately and I'm struggling just to post this now. My dad is very ill, he survived bowel cancer 4 years ago only to be diagnosed with liver cancer just over a year ago. Sadly he doesn't have long. He's fighting a nasty infection and the doctors are hopeful that they can get on top of it but they are talking in weeks and months. I am driving 10 hours in holiday traffic and some awful weather tommorrow to see him and hoping it won't be for the last time. On top of that my daughter's partner is currently being very asshole-ish about letting her come with me to see him.

it's going to take a long time for this to get old!
