I played a two and a half hour match against my brother today, only got through the first set and lost 5-7! Oh, the humility! I was playing really hard, leaning into my strokes and running like a madman, but I made too many forced and unforced errors. Also, some Republican running for state rep was maiking a commercial in the park by the courts and I'm sure everyone heard the manly grunts I made when I was focusing especially hard. It was a lot of fun though, and coach was really proud. Finally, I'm starting to feel more confident about my game! Just in time, too, since I'm playing a tournament this weekend.

Whoa. This is the first time I've updated in at least a year. Like the new layout? It features the feminine-but-still-hot Teddy Geiger. If you can name the artist from whom I snatched the lyrics I'll give you a cookie.

Anyways, this summer has been AMAZING!!!! First was the trip to China. Then a week in the Bahamas scuba diving (we completed 19 dives!). And next is a cruise to Alaska. This week alone I went to Busch Gardens (ShiKra 3 times in front row!!!!), saw Superman Returns (Brandon Routh is going to be added to my list of fandoms), and I will be seeing Pirates of the Caribbean 2 in exactly 3 hours. Can it get any better than that?
