"Soon you'll be drowning in lycans just like before."
My muse has been poking me for a LXG/Skinwalkers story. Skinwalkers is a werewolf movie that hasn't come out yet that I am highly anticipating for and am showing no patience waiting for updates. Can't help it. ^_^() The characters from the movie are the same in this, just modified as the movie is set in modern times. I don't own anyone so don't sue. Here's the teaser trailer. ^_^
One of them turns, and something lunges from the shadows, eyes flashing, fangs and claws glinting in the light as they scream.
In this small town…
A slow pan through the town as an eerie music plays, and as we slow, we come to rest on the League: Wilhelmina Harker, Tom Sawyer, Dr. Henry Jekyll, Rodney Skinner, and Captain Nemo. Standing not too far behind are several of Nemo’s crew, and as one the group looks over their destination.
It looks like a ghost town.
Two groups war in the night…
One group embraces their humanity…
We see a middle-aged man, still somewhat youthful in appearance but with the carriage of an experienced and wise leader. He sits wearily in a chair overlooking the town, brown eyes looking ahead and filled with uncertainty and subtle dread before they close with a weary sigh. This is Jonas. A hand lies on his shoulder, and he smiles, gazing up at the owner of it. It belongs to a woman, beautiful and matured in her appearance, with lightly tanned skin, dark hair, and dark brown eyes, and she smiles down at Jonas before kissing him gently. This is Rachel.
A young couple swims in a small pond while a dark skinned male watches from afar with a smirk, watching over them like a guardian. The two in the pond seem to be enjoying themselves as they embrace each other momentarily. The male has very short brown hair and blue eyes and the female has blonde hair and brown eyes; Adam and Katherine. And the male sitting from his perch is Doak.
As the couple swims into shore, they have no idea that they’re being watched. From the shadows of a large cliff, four pairs of haunting eyes watch, flashing various shades of amber, maroon, black, and silver. We cannot see their faces yet, but we can tell that they’re smiling wickedly.
The other embraces their darkness…
We see Jonas, Katherine, Adam, and Doak, all chained up in what appears to be a cellar. They’re all in various stages of exhaustion, panting and slick with sweat. The sounds of bones cracking are heard, and Jonas’ eyes flash a vivid green. And as one, they begin to transform. We fade away before we see it in its entirety, but we know now that these are lycanthropes.
A group of bandits cackle in triumph as they ride and shoot around a bonfire, obviously stolen money sitting aside in large bags to be divided later. Almost all of them are completely drunk, to the point that they don’t even hear the footsteps; see the dark shapes running in the shadows, and some of them not even on two legs. Not until it’s too late, and then they are descended upon. Four nightmarish shadows of various size and shape tear into them. More lycanthropes, and the obvious leaders of the small group – the larger of the two a towering monster with black fur, amber eyes, a perfect mixture of wolf and man; and the smaller lean, athletic, almost feline features – seem to be enjoying themselves the most.
As one the group shifts back so swiftly it doesn’t seem natural until they’re all human. The towering black wolf has been replaced by a handsome young man; tall and dark, with long dark hair and amber eyes. His companion, a female with wild hair and dark eyes, smiles cruelly at him as he pulls her close, kissing her hungrily, their bodies fueled by the slaughter. These are Varek and Sonya.
Their companions watch from the shadows, both male. One is noticeably older looking, with pale brown hair that goes down past his shoulders in a scraggly mess with an almost crooked nose, and the other is a scarred and grisly dark-skinned man; Zo and Grenier.
A prophecy speaks of a child…
Close up on a small boy, perhaps twelve or thirteen years old, curled up asleep in a bed. Rachel comes over and lies down next to him, holding him securely, protectively. The boy is Timothy.
Jonas gazes to Katherine as they watch from afar, worry more than noticeable in their faces. Doak and Adam are behind them, letting father and daughter speak.
Jonas: It’s almost time…
…who will change the fate of their kind forever…
We see Timothy, curled up on the ground in the desert, crying out as his clothes begin to stretch, and then tear. Fur begins to break through his skin, and with a growl, he starts to shift.
How he does…is a matter of fate.
The music changes, still remaining the hauntingly eerie score we’ve heard during the previous scenes, but it becomes deeper, harsher, as we are treated to several scenes.
Nemo unsheathing his sword, standing his ground against Zo, who calmly strides forward, claws breaking through his fingertips as he slashes at Nemo.
Tom crouching by a bound Timothy, his expression as comforting as possible due to his uneasy and disheveled appearance. Blood can be seen on the side of his face, and as he moves to untie the boy, Grenier lunges from the shadows and tackles him with a snarl.
Rachel starring at Jonas in shock, hurt, and confusion, as if she has just been told the most shocking thing she’s ever heard. And then she slaps him hard across the jaw.
Mina and Sonya battle in a destroyed saloon. It is truly a sight to see as vampire and werewolf tear at each other, claws against silver daggers. Mina’s red gaze is met harshly with Sonya’s maroon eyes, and she backhands the vampire across the room.
Adam being helped up by Skinner, visible only by his duster, and the young werewolf looks startled for a moment before gazing at him warily.
Katherine being pinned to a wall by Grenier forcefully, but he makes no move to kill her. Instead, he leans in and sniffs her softly, once, and smiles, fangs glinting in the light.
Grenier: You can’t hide it from me…you can’t convince me if you can’t convince yourself.
Tom yanks out his pistols and lets off several shots into Varek. Some hit and some are dodged as the werewolf charges, grabbing the Agent’s left arm and twisting it to the point where it would snap in half. Tom shouts, and Varek’s other hand raises, claws elongated as he brings them down for the kill. And then Jonas lunges from the shadows, Varek looking in surprise just before Jonas barrels into him.
Hyde faces off against Zo’s wolf form, a tall and gangly beast with claws more like short swords. Hyde’s confident, but his expression is cautious, wary of the lycanthrope.
We see Sonya as she grips Doak by the back of his neck and slamming his head into the wall with as much force as she can muster. She moves in for the kill, and stops, turning and dodging the floating chair that has been readied to smash into her. She tears it to pieces and strikes Skinner, but this distraction is enough for Doak to change. Sonya meets this with her own transformation, and the two lycanthropes collide.
Varek and Jonas face off in a burning building. Fire dances around them, and Varek, despite the unpleasant environment, smiles. His eyes are fully amber and gaze into Jonas’ amber pair.
Varek: You’re finally learning…
With snarls on either side, they lunge, and as they reach each other…
The screen fades to black, and the full moon pulls into view, and as it does the title appears across it slowly.
Skinwalkers
A final shot, an eye, closed for a moment, shoots open, yellow flooding through it as the unseen owner starts to change. And as it begins, we hear two bellows. One sounds familiar, and the other is unknown
