Time flies! I finished the re-design late last week but have only just got the time to upgrade.
I’ve focused on making it more usable as well as making the design easier on the eyes, in doing so I took the opportunity to extract the design into a reusable theme for Hugo which I’m calling “minima”, very creative I know.
This time around I’ve tried to pay attention to contrast, in the last version I realised that there wasn’t a lot of contrast between cards and the background which made it hard to read, so I’ve done some tweaking especially in dark mode to ensure that things are readable. If anything is still hard to read, let me know!
I’ve also added initial support for OG images so I can share posts in a better way, for now I’m just going to create them by hand, but I know there are solutions using things like @vercel/og and Cloudflare’s alternative which I’ll probably take a look at giving I’m using Pages.
