The New Hampshire Alliance for Healthy Aging (NHAHA) is a statewide coalition of more than 600 partners working to support the health and well-being of older adults across New Hampshire. Since 2016, NHAHA has brought together leaders from healthcare, social services, academia, public policy, and community organizations, along with older adults and their families, to strengthen how the state supports aging.

How We Work

NHAHA operates using a collective impact model grounded in collaboration, shared goals, and coordinated action. The work is led by volunteer members who serve on the Steering Committee, workgroups, and other committees. These groups help set priorities, share knowledge, and move initiatives forward. A backbone team supports this effort by coordinating activities, convening partners, and keeping work aligned.

Learning and Engagement

NHAHA offers a series of free meetings and workshops featuring experts from across the field of aging, along with regular updates on news, research, and opportunities to get involved. These efforts are designed to keep our network informed and connected. Whether you are a professional, caregiver, researcher, or community member, there are many ways to engage with and contribute to the work.

Our Roots

NHAHA is supported by the Center on Aging and Community Living (CACL), a collaboration between the Institute on Disability and the Institute for Health Policy and Practice at the University of New Hampshire.

CACL advances person-centered approaches to aging and community living through applied research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the development of tools and practices that support systems change. Their work helps strengthen the broader aging network in New Hampshire.
