This Computing course is designed to introduce learners to key digital skills for everyday life, further study, and future employment. Learners will explore digital literacy through a range of engaging, hands-on activities, including internet navigation and safety, basic computer operations, word processing, email etiquette, and presentation software.

The course also includes enterprise activities and using the internet for creative purposes, such as exploring music platforms and online tools. Alongside developing digital confidence and problem-solving skills, learners will build essential employability attributes such as teamwork, communication, and health & safety awareness in the workplace.

English and Maths Functional Skills are embedded into the course to support overall development. Learners work in small groups, benefit from personalised support, and have opportunities to explore work experience, build self-belief, and set goals for their personal and professional growth.
