[RL, Harvey & Renee] Watch You Burn
It was 4:01 AM - or at least Renee thought it was 4:01, she was having a terrible time reading her watch - when she finally got home. The beer bottle in her hand felt good, felt right. It had been so long since she'd actively gotten drunk - and this didn't count, because it just fucking happened, this so wasn't her fault - and now that she was drinking, she wasn't sure why she'd ever stopped. Such a stupid decision. To make Charlie happy? To make him quit bitching? Well he was dead, he wouldn't be bitching at her anymore.
Stumbling in her front door, Renee dropped her keys and didn't bother to pick them up, kicking them inside instead. Reaching back, she grabbed Harvey's arm - her method of transportation to and from a babysitting stint, what the fuck was that about - and dragged him inside. She was still vaguely aware that Harvey Dent's face would cause a stir anywhere, but especially in this Gotham. Nudging the door shut with her foot, she found herself snickering. When she couldn't figure out why, she shrugged, and didn't bother to try stopping.
"So," she said, waving her beer slightly as she paused in the living room. "So. Whose kid was that again?"
