NetSpot Home Überblick

NetSpot ist ein einfaches und zugängliches drahtloses Umfragetool, das die Sammlung, Visualisierung und Analyse von Wi-Fi-Daten mit jedem MacBook ermöglicht. Es kann dein drahtloses Netzwerk visualisieren, indem es eine visuelle Wi-Fi-Karte erstellt, die dir zeigt, wo es tote Zonen ohne Abdeckung gibt und wo Hotspots (Zugangspunkte) korrekt platziert werden können. Mit der visualisierten Karte der gesammelten drahtlosen Daten siehst du auch die Auslastung der Kanäle und kannst entscheiden, wie du deinen Wi-Fi-Standort optimieren kannst.

NetSpot ist ein leistungsstarker Analyzer für Wi-Fi-Abdeckung. Mit nur wenigen Klicks kannst du deine Gebietskarte laden, deinen Standort auf der Karte markieren und NetSpot beginnt, Wi-Fi-Daten um dich herum zu sammeln. Es wird alle notwendigen Informationen für die Analyse von Radiosignal-Leckagen, die Entdeckung von Geräuschquellen, die optimale Platzierung von Zugangspunkten usw. sammeln.

Du kannst NetSpot auch als leistungsstarkes Planungswerkzeug für drahtlose Netzwerke verwenden. Now you can customize an AP for your predictive survey according to your specific needs. Remember that if a known AP model is missing from NetSpot’s list, you can always contact us and request it to be added; * Added: Convenient secondary click (right-click) menu in Survey and Planning modes; • Added: The possibility to add doors and windows to already drawn walls; • Fixed: Lots of minor fixes throughout the app thanks to user reports. (II) I had a good back-and-forth with Support about their screwed up UPGRADE web page. TEMPORARY FIX: Send a message to Support letting them know you want the 50% upgrade. They will send you a DISCOUNT COUPON CODE for $29.50 off full price. There's small type on the screwed up purchase page labeled "ADD DISCOUNT" lets you get to the coupon code entry box. That's bad coding, again, but it's there. (III) NEW PRICES: The Home version is now $59. The upgrade price, before tax, is $29.50. (IV) IF you own the v2 Pro version, you can indeed upgrade to the v3 Pro version if you like. The upgrade Pro price is $100 and adds a pile of new capability. But it may be far more than you need, in which case the Home version is quite adequate. (PS) Their Support were super nice to me! That helped. /Research dissertation 😓

I've written the developer to ask exactly HOW to get the 50% discount upgrade price from a version 2 license. So far, I cannot ANY discount applied when attempting to buy version 3 Home. I went right up to the point before entering my payment information with NO SIGN of any discount. <--Not acceptable. If they sort out the situation, I'll post further. Otherwise, consider me disappointed and disinterested in paying the full $59. *sigh* 😠

It's well worth paying for the Home version. Unless you're a professional administrator, you do not need the Pro version. This is the best tool for its purpose by far! I'd give it 5 stars except for the inexplicable/idiotic/pesky/user-hostile times you're told to prove your registration. YAWN. But I'm always successful doing so. I've found it VERY useful when stuck using 2.4 GHz WiFi to avoid interference from other 2.4 GHz users, allowing the user to choose the least clashing channels.
