long time now use...

No one is probably reading this any more.
thought I'd drop in and leave myself some notes.
Today, Work called and and offer me an 8 hour shift instead of the 5 I was scheduled. Comprised on 7 hours since I already have an extra day scheduled and 8 hours after working a bunch of 5 and 6 hours is tiring.

Yesterday I started making "plarn" after watching a youtube vid. of course the only plastic bags I have are dull baighe and gray. Don't know what I will do with it yet. Maybe a shopping bag first. (like I don't already have a ton of those)

also yesterday, I got a cheep muffin pan and some paper muffin cups, a couple of Jiff mixes and made a dozen muffins for breakfast this week. :) took me almost a year to figuar out how the oven work here, but now that I do, I see a lot more baking in my future.

Well that's about all for now. I', going to have to poke around and see what's new on livejournal. It's been a long time since I used it, having moved to facebook like almost everyone else......

still no news. We is still very broke, don't have June's rent, and have run out of friends to barrow from. Hubby is so close to the top of the unions out of work list that it should only be a few more months, if not weeks, at most before they call him up. The problem is can we hold out that long. Depression is not helpping us.

And a question:
I have been making paper bead and pendents jewlery. (Don't think about what you made in grade school, these are coming out gorgeous, I'll add pictures) Dose anyone know how/where/when in Orange county Ca I can sell it? The local farmers market is not taking apps for stall for jewlery only. Estey didn't get any sales much less views.

We are having a yard sale tomorrow. I'll be at work for most of it, hope the family dosn't give the good stuff away too cheep. Since we don't have a lot of good stuff to put out there, most of it is books and toys and other junk, 50cents or a quarter? I'm not expecting to get rich. But $300 would be nice, but not expected.

A good thing though! I got our Cast Preview tickets for Disney Calif. Adventure's Car's Land! By the time I got to work the day they gave them out the night time slots were gone. So we are letting the kids play hooky on June 8th (realy only 3 days of school left, they arn't going to miss anything.) and get to see the new land from 8:30 am to noon. I'm excited.

Well this went on longer than I had intened, maybe I just needed to ramble a bit.

I've started reading my friends list again and hopefuly will get around to posting things, if anything postworthy come up. Not much interesting has happend. Just life going on, Hubby has been out of work for 3 years and is still looking. It sucks, it dosn't make things interesting, it just makes it boaring.

I finaly got my fince back. And I lost about 20squar feet. And they havent' done the stone floor yet. Don't realy expect them to either, though the bags of sand are taking up space back there.

Hubby's unemployment check was supposed to be in the mail Thursday. We both forgot all about the mail till the evening (and past few days...) When Hubby came in with his arms full of mostly junk mail, we went through it all and found no check. Ummph, better be here Friday then. (or we're screwed) Several hours later after I'd gone to bed and he was up puttering on his computer be looked around and saw a letter where a letter should not be...it had a rainbow address window. It was the check. We still have no idea how it got there, but I'm glad it did. Thanks house elves/guardian spirits.

We are getting a new fence around our side yard from the apartment. We spent most of the last few days cleaning out the area and putting most of it into temporary storage. Just now the handy man came and started sawing away the fence... it's noisy. Time to escape the home... and find out how to cross post to facebook.

Why am I the one aways getting the water dammage?
Yesterday morning the manager knocked on the door early and asked us to check our bedroom closset for water leeks. Sure enough the floor was wet in the cornner. We were heading out, planning to be gone most of the day. we moved everthing from tht side of the closet. Manager said if it getts much worse call the emercency number.

It wasn't worse last night when we went to bed, but when we went to get ready to go out this morning it had spred into the room. We have borrowed the wet-vac and used it a few times. Tomorrow someone is comming to find out where the leek is comming from. It is effecting all three units that are in that corrner. Joy-o-joy...not!

Today was the last free day we have till the end of June. Yesterday was the "McCollin Family Reniun", Used to gather the folks together for some fun and game, paperwork updating, dues paying, mini workshopping, and campe-out. It's a "Family Renunin" because the park charges much less for family reuniuns than for club gatherings.

Next Saterday is Fair Regerstration for Southen Rennasones Fair in Inerwindale. And of course my son and daughter's clothes are too short, or too torn, or whatever. I've lost weight so I need to alter my boddice and make a new skirt too. Blagh! More sewing.

Hubby was in a good mood last weekend and encuruaged me and my daughter to go ahead and sign up for a wood turnning class on the 12th. We will get to make and turn our own fancy wooden writing pen. this will be fun. I haven't turnned wood before.

Last week we had a "family night out"... to the dentest. My daughter came out the winner. My son and I go back Tusday for filling, him 2 me 3. Hubby didn't need any fillings but does need a more than normal cleaning and has to see a speciallest. His appointment is for much latter in the mounth since he can't go in the afternoons and needs the poppular evening appointments.

The new refredigerator is to be delivered on the 4th, and I really want to pull the old one out early to clean under it. -it's going to be icky-

My blood sugar seems to be getting better, more good readings than bad.
Hubby is off getting dinner and shoud be back shortly.

last weekend was Hogmanay. I don't have pictures because I did a dumb thing and got to drunk. I missed most of the evening. I did take a pic of my daughter when we were shopping for a dress for her to ware for the party. She's only 13. I sent the pic to her dad through the mobil phone, he sent back, 'get it. I'll get the axe'. She was lovely and looked so grown up.

This weekend was The Schotich Festival and games at the Queen Mary in long beach. I didn't have to be at work till 7pm so I was there most of the day Saterday. The family, mine and the extended one all went to dinner at JohnyRabs about the time I started working. I wanted to go too :( Instead I worked one of the busiest days I've seen at the park in along time, the 4 hours actually went buy quickly, but I wasn't home till 11:30. Sunday we were all back at the boat. Because of pricictions of rain on Satureay and more rain on Sunday the event was not well attended by our gourp or customers, but we still managed to have a good time. Sunday we went shopping on the boat and festaval venders. My son got a collection of mideavle army men, a bag of 50 that included horses and catapults, he loved it. My daughter got a necklace of a bronz madalen that was struk with the images of her choosing, she chose a humming bird on one side and a dragon on the other... Hubby got me a t-shirt that I love, it was $25. I don't usually pay more than 2 or 3 dollars for a t-shirt! but I will make a great effort to take care of this one.

Then I saw the rings. Sunday morning I had taken off my rings. I have lost over 23 pounds and between the weight lose and the cold I was afraid I'd loose them, they were so loose. Hubby hot me a plain gold band to fill in till I can resize my wedding ring. (I want to wait awihle before getting it done, so I don't have to redo too soon) Then he found a silver band that he liked that fit better than his wedding band, (getting to small) so he got that too. Add a tote bag with knotwork embordery to the list and everone was happy with the day. Here are some pictures from Sunday evining while we were packing up to go home.

Monday we went back to JonnyRabs for breakfast! Yum! It was Raining! After breakfast we went shopping for a new refridgeerator. We got to Best Buys and thay were still closed... What are we going to do for 45 minutes? Go to Wallmart of course. I got another t-shirt (only $8 this time) and one for hubby. The daughter got new shoes, and the son got a StarWars toy. Add in a pillow, pens, leftover v-day candy and a few other household odd and ends and, well...at least nothing will go to waste.

The new refredgerator will be delivered March 4th,(maybe soon, but no promeses.) The new microwave is huge and shiny. We were good at Best Buys, we only got want we went in for. :)

So now most of the fed tax return is spent... Will pay MIL back for the loan last year when the state return comes in... should be anytime now.

It's still raining today. It's suposed to clear up tomorrow.

My blood sugar has started to go up and down, I actually had a few occasions where it has gotten to low and given me shaky hands. It's sure being a nussance to figuar out and I'm still learning, and experemtnting.

I need to get on to some choors rther than sit here reading fic all day, so have a great week everone.
(rereading this I've found more spelling errors and typos than I feel like fixing. mabye later)

I have a child home with a fever. He was home yesterday too, and tomorrow isn't looking to good yet.

Yesterday someone let the air out of my daughter's bike tire at school. The bikes are locked up during the day, but she goes to an afterschool program. When she came out her's and the other bike that was there had both been vandlized. Bugger! It won't be too difficult for hubby to fix, but he didn't have the right wrinch last night. She might have to wait till the weekend. She had minimal day tomorrow for end of semester and gets to ware her pj to school. She's off Friday. If C's back in school, maybe I'll take her to the park. C. got to go a couple of times when he had no school and she did.

My blood sugars avagerae for before and after eating for the past 7 days is 126. the 30 day avarage is 145. I'm improving! I haven't weighed myself in few weeks, Hope I'm still loosing weight too. I have different doc appointment on the 3rd and 5th. Wish me luck.

well, I have dishes to do, books to read, stories to wright, and pictures to create. I need to get off my duff and get started...
