Made from 2mm thick waterproof suede, from high-quality raw hides in North America. The surface is sanded twice to even out the nap. Dyeing is done in two stages; firstly, the leather is lightly dyed to put color into the core, and after, the entire hide is dyed thoroughly.

For this release, Cableami’s Colonial Hat, originally made in Panama material, has been reworked in cotton braid. Compared to Panama, the cotton braid is lighter and more flexible, giving the hat a softer, more natural feel and an easier fit that conforms more comfortably to the shape of the head.
