I hike solo, but never without a story. I write about the awe-filled moments, the fails, the victories, and all the small details that make the journey real. I write with honesty, humor, and heart – with plenty of photos to prove it all happened.
Soleil shares places I know I will never see in person, with a grace and wide-eyed wonder that I find both reassuring and inspiring.
Darkwald is a place of darkness but also of light. The droggles called the times of light, day, and the times of dark, night. Although sometimes the moon was confoundingly bright, making it hard for their little minds to know if it was night or day.
So much fun! Riding animals, ancient foes, and such an entertaining tone :)
