Twisted Tween Dress with No Sleeves - Request fulfilled

Finally fulfilled a request at GOS. Here's the original post. Removed the sleeves from these dresses.

This download includes:
1. My edit of the original mesh, removing the sleeves and making a new fatmorph. You cannot have the original mesh and mine, they will conflict.
2. The original recolors of the mesh with the textures edited to work with the new mesh. Like the mesh, these are edits of the original files and will conflict with the originals.
3. A few new retextures of the mesh by me, the green dress in the preview is my texture. The purple one in the preview is from the original textures that I fixed to work with the new mesh.

Retextured a couple objects in pirate woods for a GOS request

I retextured Veranka's Chair of Life Savings and Dee Dee's Mise En Plates in pirate woods for a request on GOS. Each color for the chair comes with a version that keeps the lifeguard symbol from the original, and one without it ('noplus.')

Unshared CC Dump - Part II

Here's part 2 of my dump of unshared CC. There's still a tiny bit more to come, but I'm trying to share things in order of how "complete" they feel.

Here's a retexture of CatofEvilGenius's boatneck top. I believe the fabric overlay I used is by Trapping. I really just applied the overlay and then fiddled around to make some colors. Typically I lean on CuriousB's any color you like color actions, so I'm sure I did that here as well.

I shared this preview on tumblr years ago to see if anyone was interested, but I didn't follow through. Rented Space did the original mesh and I slimmed down the sleeves and added bare feet. I hand painted the entire kimono, then added stockings and a pattern. Two recolors, this one and a grayish purple. Categorized as sleepwear

Here's a retexture of Slig's dress for female elders. Some dresses are hand painted with a pattern added, others are just maxis tweaked textures. There are a few of these I'm not really happy with, so feel even more free than usual to delete the ones you don't want.

Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate! I still have some cooking to do this morning. Yesterday I put together 33 sweet potato pierogis from scratch (it took over 3 hours), and this morning I've already made chimichurri potato salad. I still need to cook the pierogies and make some gingerbread cookies.

Unshared CC Dump Part I

As the first part of my dump of CC that's been sitting around unshared, I have some tees and lips for you. I'm sharing these first because they felt the most like "complete" downloads. The next dumps will be a bit more random and have my sort of half-finished projects.
Another announcement: I think I've fixed all of the previews for my downloads that aren't actual sims. I'm not sure if it's worth fixing the actual sim downloads. If I missed a clothing/skin/etc download, please let me know! I even re-took previews that I no longer had.

First some tees for AF, in 12 patterns plus a white retexture (not previewed or swatched.) These are on the untucked tee mesh by HP here. The mesh is NOT included, you probably already have it. It's a popular mesh, I've done similar tees on this mesh already. I used the same base shading and alpha for these, but I think the seams might be new. Art used on the shirts is not mine, check here.

I've had these lips for so long that I don't remember where the actual texture came from. I might have made the lip blend myself, but probably not. If you recognize them, please let me know so I can give proper credit! I think I had always intended them for personal use, so I didn't document the credits. I did color them myself. Most shades work well on dark skins, and a few are great for males. I believe the alpha is pooklet's?

Hey there! I posted a new download on GOS for the low poly theme. To be honest I've had this hair hanging out in my game for years.
It's a retexture of this hair by Sentate, blending the original textures and pooklet's textures. I used pooklet actions to make the natural colors, but they don't match exactly. I just did the basic black, brown, blond, and red. I also did pink, purple, and green unnaturals.

Swim, Fishie, Swim!

Since it's summer time where I am and I want to swim but haven't had much time to do so, I decided to make some swimming outfits for my sims. These are recolors of the AM Bon Voyage Swim Trunks. Bon Voyage is required. Patterns are from pattern-a-day.

I made some simple retextures of these halters by Fishie. These aren't swimwear, but I enjoyed the pun I was able to make in the title of this post. All I really did for these was add a fabric overlay, to make the tops fit in better with my game, and then do some recolors. I think I used Alfred Askew's fabric actions and CuriousB's actions and then tweaked them around. Mesh is included.

These are recolors of the Seasons Pre-Order bikini. I included the seasons pre-order body shop content for convenience. The mesh is not the nicest to recolor and it tends to crunch up the textures. You'll notice this if you zoom in closely. Using bigger patterns with a white foundation seemed to help minimize this. Patterns are again from pattern-a-day.

Male & Female pajamas/underwear and a knitted dress

I'm not sure if this has been done already... I've been so out of the loop with the sims community I probably missed it if it has. I made a small edit of this Amaryll dress that I've been wanting to do since I first downloaded it. I added a knitted texture (extracted from the sims 3 by Trapping, I believe), made a version with stockings, and did 4 recolors. The mesh is the original by Amaryll and it is included. I just messed around to make these colors, but I'd still like to give credit to CuriousB for the awesome color actions that I usually use.

Each color comes with and without stockings.

I have been looking ways to use the great patterns at a-pattern-a-day, so I put them on the bottoms of these cute pajamas by Plumeria. I usually have trouble working with patterns that are mostly white, but I think I figured out a good technique now. I'm pretty sure I just did the colors for the tops myself, but I may have used one of the cloth actions by Alfred Askew because I downloaded them recently. No mesh needed, this is the nude AF body mesh and the feet are bare.

Categorized as pajamas and underwear.

I really wanted to make something for men, because the amount of CC for males is just tiny compared to what we have for females. I actually made these before I made the female pajamas above, but I had so much fun with the patterns from a-pattern-a-day I wanted to keep making retextures.

These boxers are originally by nilou, but I can't seem to find them! I looked through both of their livejournals, their tumblr, and their posts on GOS but maybe the download got lost while GOS was down? If anyone knows where they are, let me know and I will add a link. The mesh is maxis; the feet are bare. The texture on the tops is totally by nilou, I just did recolors. The boxers were originally plain white and I added the patterns to them. I don't think I used any actions to make the colors, but if I did they were probably CuriousB's (linked in the first download).

Agnes Martin Paintings on Bella Squared

Maybe it is still March 22 in someone’s timezone.. and for them it is still the day for the Agnes Martin google doodle! I confess that I had not heard of her before the google doodle, but I followed the google search and enjoyed looking at Agnes Martin’s paintings.

Using the images I found in my search,

I made 8 recolors of the Bella Squared painting. I also made 4 frame recolors, 3 shown above. No swatch, but there are previews in the download very clearly labeled so you can delete what you don’t want. I recommend getting the Bella Squared add-ons by CuriousB here.

I've been rebuilding my neighborhood Ranseive since it broke. Now it is called Babineux, but nothing has really changed except for the homes and the neighborhood itself. I'll be using the same Ranseive tag for now. I shared some pictures of my progress on tumblr as I'm slowly rebuilding and improving things. Unlike Ranseive, I'm trying to make as many homes and businesses myself as I can (since building and decorating are my weaknesses, this will give me practice to improve)

I moved Mitzy and Thrush in first, since they were the last family I had played. The layout of their house was a maxis home, but I re-decorated it from what it was in the old neighborhood.

Since Judith left with the family dog when I last played, they got a new dog as well as a cat.

I also moved the Pertulles in, this is Gill and Lieu's daughter Quoko playing with Mitzy and Thrush's older son.

The first thing Lieu and her children did when they moved in (Gill the vampire ran upstairs to nap). I actually moved them into a different house after this.

The first community lot I built was a tiny pet shop.

I moved Nenette in next, with a new dog. She has her own small "house" but is is mostly cluttered with research supplies.

Not the most colorful house..

Clang and Cybelle, engaged in Ranseive, moved into their own nice house. Clang is going to open up a robotics/mechanics shop. He build them a servo named Rembrandt.

Clang kept the cat that he and Joule had when they were roommates.

I never posted about this family before, but they are Luther, Laverne (blond) and Spetz (brunette). Luther and Spetz are werewolves. Laverne and Spetz are a couple.

Priscilla and Joule can be spotted at the H&M club (which I did not make).

Beryl got her own itty bitty house with a big garden. This time I made her an actual plantsim, since I have Seasons now.

And that's all I've taken pictures of so far.

I helped Whispers make some walls! - Found the download!

Whispers made a great wall texture, so I recolored it with curiousb 's actions and did a version with a baseboard and one without for each color. Whispers made the actual game files and uploaded them to GOS, but the post was lost while GOS was down. Whispers has provided this link to download directly.

Sundress with Jacket and Flat Loafers - AF

So, this is the dress I posted about here.
It is basically the maxis sundress molded into this mesh by serenityfall with some brand new shoes!

The shoes are made from these h&m shoes. I flattened the heel and re-did the bone assignments. They are not perfect, but they don't seem to have any major problems. I plan to retexture them into something like these.

The mesh has morphs, but apparently the maxis sundress is not as nice as I thought it was and does not animate well all the time. the bone assignments are the same though, so there wasn't much I could do.

The mesh is by me, and I completely re-did the UV map for the dress so it would work nicely with patterns. The dress was hand-painted by me with a fabric base by trappingit and I added a pattern from web-treats. The jacket and shoes are maxis texture. Colors are based on curiousb's. The dresses are a bit grungy, so feel free to make some brighter textures and colors with my .psd.

WIP - Dress with Jacket with Flat Loafers

I’ve been working on this mesh forever. I have never done a mesh that needed so much fiddling. I took this dress by serenityFall and molded the maxis sundress onto it, then I made these flat loafers out of the high heels from a h&m outfit.

~~I had to completely re-do the UV map for the entire dress, so now that I see that little issue on the skirt I hope it can be fixed by making the alpha bigger and won’t involve more UV mapping..~~
I fixed it! It was just an alpha problem!

I also had to re-do the bone assignments for the shoes, since the originals were heels. I used the maxis block-feet as a guide, and they seem to be okay. ~~There is a little issue, but it is with the texture not the animation.. perhaps more UV mapping to fix?~~

There is a new mesh for a pleated skirt which comes in two versions, with a high waist and one with a lower waist.

By that I mean, if you want the new meshes you need to over-write your old ones.

I have been getting lots of spammy comments for a while, but especially in the past few weeks. I've had it set to show a Captcha to all non-friends and to screen comments from all non-friends, but that hasn't been enough so I'm going to try allowing only comments from registered users and to show captchas to everyone. If this does not fix the problem, I will just put things back the way they were. (what's the point of making you guys do a captcha if it isn't stopping the spam anyway?)

Yuxi Fallout Chair Retextures

So, as the title says I retextured 2 chairs from yuxi's extracted fallout meshes. I did not play around much with the chair frames, but I did completely retexture and repaint the cushions. I cleaned them up, but not too much. The style I was trying to emulate was based on freudroid's game. Textures from yuxi and CG textures, colors made with the help of curiousb's actions.
Each chair comes in about 10 colors, and the swatches are included along with a .psd so you can make your own awesome recolors.

Maxis OFB Dresser Recolors

4 dressers in total, all come with Open for Business. There are some base-game dressers that are similar to these, and I will see about retexturing those as well. This is my first time uploading an object recolor, whee!
All of these come in variants of curiousb's colors and are textured with an amalgam of woody and grungy textures from deviantart and google searching. I also included my original "white" retexture with all of the dresser recolors. Here is my orginal WIP.

May I draw your attention to those little white bars on the dresser drawers? Those were a boo boo by me, but I sort of like them and I had already done all 42 of curiousb's color actions and made 42 recolor packages and it was 3am so I didn't want to fix it. If it bothers you, however, I will indeed fix it. Also, the handles are not floodfill, they do have a metal texture which I found on google.

This is the ye Closet. While applying the color actions I really wasn't fond of how the brighter colors looked, so I stuck to the natural woody shades and the darker colors. When I use curiousb's lovely color actions I usually use the "lighten base texture" option, but ~~by accident~~ I noticed that without applying that action first I got some pretty cool wood tones. For this reason, I did two versions of some colors (a normal one and a "dark" one.) For some colors I only kept the dark version.
Here is the swatch, which will explain better than I can. Everything is clearly labeled and the swatch is included.

On the left in green is the Supreme Cabinet of Lesser Times which comes in all 42 colors, because this one is my favorite and I love it so. On the right is the Touch of Teak Tansu Medium Dresser which only comes in 20 colors, two of which are versions of the "adonis" shade, which I meant to delete completely. Hey, bonus for you!

WIP: Maxis retextures

Wow, posting two days in a row. That's crazy. Well, I'm working on some maxis retextures. Originally for personal use, but if they come out well I will share them? So far I am just doing some dressers from OFB.

I need to fix the handles for the one on the left, and for the one on the right I need to fix the nob and make the two doors look more seperated.

I really like how the one on the left turned out! But the one on the right I think needs help, probably a different texture entirely.

I actually have lots of pictures I've been taking of my game and of houses I've decorated, but I don't want to spam you guys all at once so I'll try to spread it out. I just want to get things done before I go back to school, because I know I'll be really busy then.
