The National Construction Authority is a state corporation established under Section 3 of the NCA Act No. 41 of 2011 with a mandate to oversee the construction industry and coordinate its development.

RECOGNIZED TRADES WITHIN THE KENYAN CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

The National Construction Authority is mandated under Section 5(2)(l) of the National Construction Authority Act No. 41 of 2011 and Regulation 19 of the National Construction Authority Regulations to accredit and certify skilled construction workers and construction site supervisors operating in Kenya. Accreditation ensures that workers in the construction sector meet the required professional standards, promoting safety, quality and professionalism across construction sites.
