The Annual Contractors’ Trainings for the Financial Year 2025/2026 have officially commenced under a sector-based Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programme themed “Innovatively Integrating the National Building Code 2024 into the Current Technological Construction and Infrastructure Landscape.”
The National Construction Authority is mandated under Section 5(2)(l) of the National Construction Authority Act No. 41 of 2011 and Regulation 19 of the National Construction Authority Regulations to accredit and certify skilled construction workers and construction site supervisors operating in Kenya. Accreditation ensures that workers in the construction sector meet the required professional standards, promoting safety, quality and professionalism across construction sites.
