Hey guys,
How is everyone?? I have been very busy with work and am now a full time animation and graphic design freelancer! It's very exciting and I'm really enjoying it! If you'd like to see my stuff and support me then here are my online profiles and portfolios. Some are updated more than others. The most active by far is the facebook page. I am currently working on a decent website!
Facebook // Twitter // People Per Hour // Deviant Art // Carbon Made // Youtube

Is anyone any good at building websites? I want a slightly more snazzy portfolio website... I'd be willing to pay a bit of moneys.

Today I'm off work sick and resting. I've had a busy week starting animation workshops with children, working, hosting my partners friends and doing trials for a new job that is very far away. I have lots to do but my flu is getting much much worse so I'm forcing myself to rest and trying not to feel guilty about it.
Sometimes I lose my way. Moving around and changing the people around me makes me forget who I am and what makes me happy. So here's a little post for me to come back to when I need reminding.
1. I have dreams that are very important to me and I should never lose sight of them.
2. I want to be a housewife and stay-at-home mother so that I can raise children properly and look after my partner/husband and home. I'd also like to work from home selling art and design etc. And yes if it all goes tits up and I get divorced etc I have a first class degree and plenty of entry level work experience to support myself as a back up.
3. I'm not the type of person to work as an administrator at the council and that is why I don't get interviewed for that type of job. I was made for the art and media world and that is where I strive. I am also intelligent enough to make a product or service that will benefit people and can make my career into something useful for others rather than silly things like art installations. For this reason I should concentrate on my own work rather than trying to work for others.
4. I am not a stereotype I am my own person and I should be confident in that instead of adjusting for other people
5. I always want a dog in my life. Dogs keep me sane. They're loving and make me walk outdoors regularly- something that is very important to me and my well being.
6. I am family orientated. I want to be part of my family's every day life.
7. I am not bothered by fashions and pointless things like materialism.
8. I like what I like- I like movies because they appeal to me not because they are in the top 100 on imdb. I like music because it makes me feel something not because the artist was revolutionary or because the song is trendy.
9. I don't believe in art to make a statement. I believe art makes the world a more beautiful place to live in.
10. I hate social stigma and I don't support them. For example, I don't think that a particular drink should have any judgements surrounding it. I think women should drink beer if they want to, adults blue bubblegum flavoured vodka drinks if they feel like it without getting judged.
I will probably add to the list in future :)
And for anyone who is interested in my life at the moment well I am currently working part-time and living with my boyfriend to survive. My aim is to work full time soon so that I can pay back my overdraft and then learn to drive. After I have done these things I will then become an artist, animator and designer full time and focus on selling my work for a living with the support of my boyfriend. We will then try and move closer to my friends and family when we can. <3
On a less serious note, who's just gained access to Pottermore?? What do you think?

What is the best way to develop a positive attitude?
Rather than "surrounding yourself with happy people", surround yourself with people who like to DO positive things- things to distract you, things to look forward to. Happy people just make you jelous and alienated.

Hello. I felt like typing/ am bored so thought I'd put a little rant in my LJ! I am rather frustrated at the moment because I am so skint! I am trying to get out of my overdraft and I still have a grand to go. It is very hard though because I don't earn much and am trying and failing to find a better job. All of my friends are loaded which makes me feel worse because I can't join in with the things they have and do. I'm not sure I ever will because I didn't do a very realistic course at university. I did get a First but the degree was in Media Production, and I'm not prepared to move to London.
I also feel cooped up living with my boyfriend in another country where I don't know anyone and he has his friends and family close by. I would love to live on my own near my family and friends but I can't afford to and don't have anyone to move in with. The job prospects are rubbish here too.
On a lighter note, however... *tries to think of a lighter note* oh I'm enjoying Zelda Skyward Sword when I get a chance to play it instead of job hunting!
Hope you are all good :)

How do you become successful?
I don't know and to be honest if I did I wouldn't be on Livejournal :S
