ARGHBLARGH!

Yeah, just want to clarify: the fandom bullies have not driven me away. If anything, I hung in as long as I did because I didn't want them to win. To be honest, what's driven me away is my inability to deal with the discrepancy between what's actually happening and what I WISH were actually happening. No, this is not me simply being butthurt that the boys aren't together. I am fully aware that they never have been nor ever will be together. However, current circumstances are making it harder and harder to keep the fantasy alive, and it's just not fun for me anymore. The healthiest thing for me is to just let go.

I might come back eventually. If by the time Adam's next tour happens, I've gained some emotional distance and strength, I may dip my toes back in. I still love the boys dearly. I think they're wonderful people. However, the only way for me to heal is to stay as far away from them as possible until I'm able to be a fan without being bothered by the stuff that I'm currently unable to deal with. The fact that I still love them so much is what's going to make it hardest for me to move on from this, which is why I basically have to cut them out.

Another reason I've avoided doing this for so long was the fear it would mean cutting friends out of my life as well. But I know it won't, because all those of you with whom I've bonded are not ONLY in the friendship for the fandom. And I think that if I stick to my DMs and @replies on Twitter, I'll be able to move on without cutting anyone out.

Anyway, I love you guys SO much. Thank you for being here for me. <3

Pretty sure I'm peacing out of the fandom. When it was good, it was great, but let's be honest, it's been a suckfest for the past 10 months. At this point I just want to get out before things get any worse.

I'll still be around, though... Just hiding in my DMs and @replies on Twitter until I'm over it. I don't want to lose touch with the real friends I've made due to this fandom. One thing I will always treasure was befriending so many awesome people who've made me feel loved, accepted and supported. Thanks to being surrounded by so many truly awesome individuals, I finally found the courage to accept myself as I really am. I'll never forget that. <3

Holy crap, it was a fucking amazing weekend and I miss my ladies already! I wish I could've actually spent time with a bunch of other people who were at the show, but one day (especially one so full as that one was) just isn't enough time! Hopefully we can make it happen on some other occasion. Anyway, I think it's about time for me to go to bed. <3

How amazing is it that in this fandom, one can even have a Top Ten Favourite Kisses? Let alone that there are so many to choose from that it's actually pretty difficult to narrow it down... Not that I'm complaining, I mean... I got to spend a bunch of time looking at gifs of Adam and Tommy sucking face. Honestly that's mostly what the point of making my Top Ten was, anyway.

So, in case anyone's interested in my mom's (holy crap delicious) fudge recipe... here it is:

Butter a baking dish for the fudge before starting to cook.
1/2 lb. butter ( 1 cup)
3 cups brown sugar
6 oz. ( 3/4 cup) (1 small tin) Carnation Milk (not 2 %)
Put the above into your saucepan.
measure out 3 1/2 cups icing sugar for later addition Have your vanilla on hand

Combine the butter, brown sugar and Carnation milk. Bring to a boil, stirring, then boil and stir for five minutes. Watch the heat so you don't scorch it. Remove from the heat and add 1 tsp Vanilla. Then stir in the icing sugar until smooth. Pour into prepared pan. Let set and then cut eat and enjoy!
