Andriy Haydash<\/a> is a multi-lingual, long-time developer and entrepreneur from Rzesz\u00f3w, Poland, and one of my newer colleages joining just over one year ago (in April of 2019). While recently checking in, he shared with me his most valuable takeaways for clients \u2013 and developers \u2013 during his first year with Codeable<\/a>.<\/p>

1. For anyone who isn\u2019t already familiar with Codeable<\/a>, could you describe Codeable to them?<\/strong><\/p>

Sure, Codeable<\/a> is a great platform for people to hire the highest quality WordPress freelance developers. All the developers are pre-qualified and offer a wide range of services from speed optimization to website development and even SEO help. It also has a great support team that is always there when you need it the most.<\/p><\/blockquote>

2. How has Codeable impacted your career as a freelance WordPress developer<\/a>? Is working for Codeable any different than your previous jobs as a developer and if so, how?<\/strong><\/p>

Yes, in 2017 I started freelancing after having worked for about 3.5 years in a company.<\/p>

I had a few projects come in and it was enough for me to make some money to live comfortably, but I always wanted to grow. At the beginning of 2019, I started looking for freelance websites that I could join to get extra work. I stumbled across Codeable<\/a>, passed the vetting process and never looked back.<\/p>

The are a couple of reasons why I love Codeable. First, there is a plenty of work for everyone. Secondly, the support team and the community is great and very helpful.<\/p><\/blockquote>

3. Do you have a favorite memory, or favorite client, from Codeable<\/a>? If so, could you tell us more about what set that experience apart from all the rest.<\/strong><\/p>

I don\u2019t think that I have a specific experience that stands out from the rest, but most of the clients that I\u2019ve worked with have been great because they were committed, trusted me with the process and the communication with them has always been great.<\/p><\/blockquote>

4. What are your favorite types of projects to work on via Codeable<\/a>? If you could pick your perfect project, what (or who) would it be?<\/strong><\/p>

I prefer working on projects that are at the beginning stages just because I feel that is this where I can deliver the most value. These days I primarily work on membership and e-learning sites. I like this kind of business model and I try to gain as much expertise as I can in this area. On the other hand, I try to omit small projects like CSS or bug fixes. The reason is that I don\u2019t think I can deliver much value here.<\/p>

When it comes to types of clients that I enjoy working with, I\u2019d say that people have to be committed and open-minded in order to take my advice. It\u2019s great if they also have a budget, but even if the budget is tight – I will still try to help them in any way that I can.<\/p>

Sometimes I can suggest a simpler solution that would fit in their budget, other times I can send them some resources that they can use and implement things on their own. I don\u2019t like working with clients who don\u2019t set reasonable expectations.<\/p><\/blockquote>

5. For anyone who is considering joining Codeable<\/a>, what advice would you have to share with them to convince them to join?<\/strong><\/p>

I\u2019d probably ask them, why not? There is nothing to lose. Other websites like Upwork or Freelancer are going to be so much harder to get quality work, especially if you\u2019re just starting out.<\/p>

Codeable<\/a> is different. If you\u2019re new and other developers see it – they will often times \u201cstep out\u201d of the workroom and let you get the project. Plus, unlike those other websites, there is no race to the bottom when it comes to pricing. So I\u2019d highly encourage everyone to try out Codeable. It may change your life!<\/p><\/blockquote>

6. Some people think we\u2019re robots, but developers are human too… When you\u2019re not writing code for your clients, what do you like to do with your free time?<\/strong><\/p>

Haha, yeah. I\u2019m not a typical geek programmer for sure. I\u2019m an active person. I train football freestyle (tricks with a football\/soccer ball). I\u2019m also into calisthenics and physical training. I feel like it\u2019s amazing for relaxing, relieving stress and becoming stronger both physically and mentally.<\/p><\/blockquote>

7. Is there anything else you\u2019d like to share with us about your time on Codeable so far?<\/strong><\/p>

I hope that Codeable<\/a> will continue to grow and attract high-quality clients and developers.
