Hello, NarraScope community! I’m Hélène and I’m a NarraScope Comms volunteer and prior NarraScope presenter. In this blog post I’m going to take you through the process of submitting and presenting a NarraScope talk. I presented my talk, “Genre as a Lens: A Holistic Approach to Game Narrative Analysis,” at the 2024 conference, and I learned a lot while doing it.

Welcome to Albany

We are delighted to announce that NarraScope 2026 will take place this year on June 12-14 at the University at Albany. The conference will take place in collaboration with UAlbany’s Game Center, which launched two new programs in game design and development—one undergraduate, one graduate—in 2025 under the oversight of Director Jason Corace.
